The food was okay but nothing I would go out of my way to come back for. My sister got the biscuits and gravy and I have to admit I thought the gravy tasted pretty bad. Thankfully her yogurt tasted fine and my French toast was not bad. Also, our server seemed pretty unfriendly. Overall just not very thrilled.

I ordered the maple bacon bourbon burger on a gluten free bun. It was incredible! I was also so impressed that just me mentioning needing a gf bun, the waitress told me the fries are NOT gluten free (they have a coating/batter on them) and gave me a couple options to substitute. I chose the baked potato, it was a great paring!

Food was alright, service and atmosphere great. For the Philly, the smoked beef was bland. White cheddar cheese curds were really good. Seasoned fries were super salty. The French toast and sausage were excellent. One of the kids got a burger, was a hockey puck, but she didn’t say anything until after we paid and we were leaving, so couldn’t ask for a new one, I am positive it would have been resolved with no issues. I would go back and try it again.

Burgers were out of this world and the kids meal pancakes were bigger than my kid’s head! We got the voodoo burger (spicy enough that you feel it, but not spicy enough there’s no flavor) and male bacon burger. The voodoo burger was my favorite burger I’ve ever eaten. Fries were perfect, too. We’ll definitely eat here again if we’re back in the area.

We’re visiting from south of the cities, and chose this place for breakfast-it was fantastic! Jen, our server, was full of smiles & recommendations, and whipped us up a couple of THE BEST spicy bloodys I’ve had in a long time! Food was hot & delicious, atmosphere warm & welcoming & the service was out of this world! Jen saved me from the hotel coffee when she offered a to go cup of fresh Java! We will definitely be back! Thank you for such an awesome experience!☺️PS-the hashbrowns are as good as the other reviews say-HIGHLY recommended!

We tried to give this place a try based on the reviews. They really do have some of the best burgers we have tried. Many of their burgers have won awards. What is also unique is the different burger options that provide some really unique flavors. The Apple Bacon Cheddar Burger was excellent. It was cooked well done but was still really juicy and the pretzel bun was the perfect compliment. It was tied together nicely with the apple BBQ sauce. Definitely give them a try.

We had met a friend at the Black Beach on Lake Superior and after a hike decided to grab a bite. Northwoods Family Grill was one of only a couple options in Silver Bay, nestled in a small strip mall. We chose to eat at the tables outside as one of our party members had her dog with. They had us order as take-out and said it would take 20 mins, so we could go out and sit down. We were under the impression they’d bring our order out to us, but we were apparently in error with our thinking. After it had seemed to have been taking a rather long time we checked inside and found our order waiting at the host booth. The food was good, mainly burgers and sandwiches, and all day breakfast. They have an interesting array of specialty burgers, and I enjoyed the Cajun Burger. Not a bad place if you’re looking for somewhere to sit and have some grub while in the area.
