I ate here with a friend while staying at the Shore Lodge. We had a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The bread service was tasty. I got a Caesar salad, and my friend had the lobster bisque, both were delicious. We split a larger steak as we didn’t want to have leftovers in our hotel room, our waiter had no problem with this and even had the kitchen split it onto 2 plates for us. The steak was great and cooked well. We skipped dessert but they do offer sorbet between courses as a palate cleanser which is always a nice touch. If I was ever back in McCall and wanted a steak, I would absolutely come here again.

Our waitress Jordan was absolutely delightful! She was so fun to chat with, checked in on us just the right amount, and recommended amazing items. The steakhouse overall is amazing. The availability of upscale items, and the additional intermittent added delights (amuse Bouche and palette cleanser) were very much appreciated. Overall, we had a great time with great service and amazing foods.

Wow!! The Narrows blew my mind. The food was amazing, the ambiance and views were incredible and our server, Bart, was great. We had a fantastic view and meal. I am so glad I found this restaurant. The French Onion Soup and Surf and Turf were out of this world. Highly recommended for that special occasion!!

Great place for a romantic meal or getogether! Warm atmosphere with dim lighting. Great view over the lake. Really cool retro table and chairs. Very well kept and clean! Then the service!! Forget his name, but he is an uncle and had his nieces bow on his tie. He was fabulous! Attentive, engaged in conversation, gave great suggestions….overall 10. It definitely helped that the food was an overall 10! Prime cuts of good steak! Sides and drinks were creative and delicious! We will be back every time we visit! Definitely worth the price! Thank you for a great night, especially after 5 prior nights and being disappointed by McCall restaurants! The Narrows in right on par with Aqua by El Goucho in Seattle and Masteoes Ocean Club in Ft. Lauderdale. Those are my favorite places for fancy date!

Went there for a special occasion. Burrata was good and the bread tray was nice. The tiny specials are always a nice surprise. Our entrees were very salty. The salmon was cooked perfectly though. The perfect ending was the flourless chocolate cake. Not to mention the view is stunning during any day light hours.

For what we paid I’d expect a MUCH better meal. I’ve been to expensive steak houses before so when I literally ordered the most expensive thing on the menu for my wife and I to share I expected it to be delicious. Instead it seemed like it sat in the back (not even under a heat lamp) waiting for our sides to be cooked. Wont be going back anytime soon.

If you find yourself in beautiful McCall Idaho, treat yourself to this place! Probably the most enjoyable meal I’ve ever sat down to. Had the rib-eye, worth every penny. The lamb chops were on point! Our waiter Christopher was extremely knowledgeable about wine and very friendly.
