Setting was excellent, and what pulled us in. Menu was an interesting mix of Mexican and Asian. We ordered beef dumplings for an appetizer, they came out without the bottoms, overcooked, and 10 minutes after our dinner. The ahi tacos were overcooked, and came in a single cold corn tortilla, which I’ve never seen before. Usually any real Mexican place will double down on a soft corn tortilla and grill or heat it in some way. Tea tasted fermented, I never got a refill while my husband got several.

The best spot in Lewisburg for lunch. Excellent selection, reasonable prices, beautiful deck. Full bar. It’s been my go to lunch spot for over 20 years. Btw it’s much more than a Mexican Restaurant. The menu is varied and contains a lot of non-Mexican items.

Decided to stop here for a late lunch while in the area to check out some antique shops. We were seated quickly and were the only customers at the tables. Several people were seated at the bar drinking and watching soccer though. The waitress rushed us to order so would have probably chosen differently if given more time. I did ask if there was a drink menu and she said no. Didn’t offer to elaborate on any specialty cocktails. I eventually decided to just get a margarita and that was my best decision and the only saving grace of the meal. Amazing margarita! I ordered the ahi tuna tacos and my husband ordered some sort of beef tacos…carne asada, short rib, I don’t recall. The beef tacos were equivalent to a salt lick. I have honestly never tasted something this salty at a restaurant or otherwise in my lifetime. The ahi tacos were slightly better but a large majority of the tuna was so stringy that it was inedible. I have eaten at this restaurant a couple times years prior while visiting the state fair and also the chocolate festival and recall it being very good. There was also a cocktail I got there that I wanted to try again but couldn’t remember the name. Super disappointed and will choose something else when in the area next time.

Our waiter was pleasant enough. However, it took almost an hour for our food to come out. Also, chips and salsa are not included/free. They are $7 and you get your choice of salsa, guac, or queso, it is a fairly small amount. Being from Texas I have been to many, many Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants and this is a first.

Service was very good. We never had to worry about drink refills or had a wait on food. We chose to sit outside and it had a very nice atmosphere and feel to it. We got the beef fajita and the Thai chicken curry which were both excellent. We definitely plan on coming here again. Thanks for the great experience.

Great food and great staff. Nice environment! Had a chimichanga, and the Duck Confeite tacos, both were amazing! Cadillac Margaritas were on point! My favorite place to eat while in Lewisburg. Come for the fantastic margaritas stay for the excellent food!
