Omg, what a treat!!! Not like your typical Mancinos, all the meats are smoked fresh and the menu is totally different. Ordered the beef brisket grinder and was amazed. Freshly smoked in house and super tender. Piled high on their Freshly baked bread, then smothered in a special melty cheese blend and BBQ sauce. Simple yet elegant!! Tried the baby back ribs as well. Flavor was great, not over salty and had a decent bite to them but not fall off the bone tender. Smoke flavor was on point. Keep up the great work!!!!!!! Will be back soon .. Thanks

Excellent BBQ. Cornbread is good. Excellent food. The place is attached to a gas station and could use a decor refresh so 4 stars for atmosphere. We come here whenever we are in Tawas. The staff was friendly and was good .

I ordered from here tonight, when I called in I told the waitress I did not have my card I had left the campsite (Sawmill point no service there) told her I didn’t have my card but did have the card on my phone. She said I could pay there with it. I was relieved I wouldn’t have to turn around and make the drive back.

First employee was rude and walked away from me as I attempted to order. Online menu is different from what they actually serve apparently. Online listed a smoked chicken dinner which I tried to order but the employee said they don’t serve. She waved a hand at pile of menus and walked away. After a few minutes a nicer person asked me what I wanted to order. I ended up with brisket( ok but not great) and some really awful Mac and cheese… so much garlic it wasn’t edible. The coleslaw was ok and what I think was a round piece of cornbread was really weird. The whole thing was $20 and I didn’t eat most of it. I’m in this area frequently but won’t try this spot again.

Man I am full!! The people on the phone were very polite. Mushroom swiss burger was perfectly cooked. The salad was big and full of flavor. The fries were thick and made how I liked them. …they got here early. 5 stars … I cant wait to try their lumber jack grinder. Its 18 dollars for the large but I bet it’s worth it…. Until we meet again ..lol
