the BBQ is fine here nothing special, but the service was amazing was there on a Saturday around 9pm the girl that work in the front was great took orders, got us our food and drinks. all by her self doing everything and check in with us even she was slam with customer. This is my favourite place to eat. I went here at least once a month. The food was fantastic, and the people working here are very polite. Ordered the beet salad, beef fat fries, truffle ravioli, and butternut squash dish. Each dish was unique, full of amazing flavours, and perfectly portioned and served.

Windy City Ribs & Whiskey is a very good place to enjoy a smooth a easy going lunch or dinner. Chicago has over the years opened up to the open restaurant window concept and Windy City Ribs & Whiskey has it. When you sit inside you feel relaxed and ready to get to eating some delicious BBQ. I tried the sampler they have to offer which gives you rib tips, a half slab, chicken and a portion of beef brisket. All of them were delicious and tender. The beef brisket was good no doubt. The rib tips were cooked how rib tips should be cooked. The half slab falls off the bone. The chicken, man the chicken is amazing. The fries they have are seriously on point too. Now please keep in mind they are using a Midwest style sauce so it has that tangy taste that can be a change of pace from the deep south sauce that tends to be sweet. Either way you’ll love it and the service is on point too. If you want some great BBQ this is a great spot to get some. Five stars from me!

My sister in law was on town for a conference at McCormick Place. We met up for dinner. We were looking for someplace to eat when we saw the restaurant. We both love BBQ and decided to go there. The hostess/waitress could not have been nicer. She asked if it was our first time there. She then gave us a great description of menu options. My sister in law got the St Louis Ribs and I got the brisket sandwich. My sister in law loved the ribs. The brisket sandwich was piled high with thick , melt in your mouth brisket. I highly recommend this gem!

I paid $18 for a “brisket sandwich” with literally 4 of the smallest slices of brisket I have seen in my life. Very disappointed. This was not worth the money at all. It tasted pretty good but they only put a teaspoon of sauce on the whole sandwich. Had I not taken off the top bun I would not have been able to taste the brisket or sauce.

I was assigned to do a doordash photo shoot here, I usually don’t review work shoots, but Terri the owner was an amazing host, as was the bartender and the rest of the staff. it was such a fun night, their slushies are perfectly sweet. I tried a lot of the dishes, but out of the 10 I tired I recommend the ribs and the BBQ wings stuck out, the chef came out and finsihed the ngith with lamb chops that wer eto die for I reccomend those as well! i dropped a few photos below that i took on the shoot.
