We took our family of four, and we sat in a booth. We loved the atmosphere. I got tortilla soup (I asked for it without chhese or tortilla stips), my son got a burrito, my husband got carneasada, and my daughter a taco and chicken Quesadilla. There are several things you can get alacart, and I like that because then you can really get exactly what you want. We aren’t in Ada very often, but when we are, this is definitely a stop for us. Our waitress was very nice.

It was decent food. I was with a large group of folks for a business meeting, and so that does make it a little difficult in service, but my food never came out when the party was served. It would be a great idea for larger parties to have maybe more than 1 server servicing the group.

It took over 1 1/2 hrs to get our order and then at was cold. The bean’s and burrito were cold. Cheese not melted. The salad was hot. Nobody paid any attention to other tables if it wasn’t theirs. Overall it was a BAD EXPERIENCE. It used to be a good place to dine. But it SUCKS NOW. We won’t ever go back.

Polo’s Mexican Restaurant left us feeling underwhelmed. The service was fine but the food lacked flavor/seasoning. The hot sauce tasted like marinara sauce. The restaurant calls itself “authentic” but the food shows otherwise. People in our group who dined there in years past said it used to be one of the best. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.

We had eaten here for years before pandemic. Used to be excellent. Today chips were good, with less salt than many places-the only plus. Food was tasteless. Service was mediocre. Really sorry we went there. We live about 25 miles away. Won’t go back.

The food is good, the staff is always friendly. Free chips and salsa if you are purchasing a meal. Ask for the green salsa if you like something spicy with a unique smoky flavor.
