Visited over the weekend because Taco Box never disappoints. Unfortunately, they missed the mark this day. I was excited to see the new enchilada plate on the menu but disappointed with what I actually received. The portions were shockingly small. I used my fork for scale in the photo and you can see I got barely more than a forkful of rice. The price was $11.79. I rated two stars because despite my issues with the value of what I received for the price, the food was excellent.

NM DONUT KWEEN THE FOODIE
A friend of mine recommended the Taco Box! I’m glad that after 15+ years of knowing her, I finally tried it! The tacos were great! We also tried the hot dog chimi, 2 salads,gc burrito & $6 meal. Everything we tried was good! I’ll have to go back and try a Pepsi with ice cream drink! Yum!

Great option for fast Mexican. Was passing through on a road trip and stopped here. Was amazed at how good it was and loved the spicy sauce. Impressed with the Mexican food in this part of the country in general.

Taco Box is always 5/5 for me but today I was craving a small cheese quesadilla. Normally, it always come with four slices but today it only came with three. Did you guys get hungry? Is this normal? Anyway… I was really looking forward to it.

This has and will always be a hometown favorite. The staff are professional and friendly. The food is always hot and fresh. There is hardly a wait from the time you order to the time you pick it up. Tom Martin has done an outstanding job running and maintaining this restaurant. I do miss the times that when there was another location open. My recommendation is the chicken chimichanga, large Spanish fry and a xl cherry chocolate Dr. Pepper! Keep up the good work!

I hadn’t eaten here for awhile because of the pandemic but came back. I’m not sure if they changed their recipe or not but sure not as good as it used to be and the taco’s where very small. I will be going back to see if anything else has changed but it won’t be in the near future
