This place was very busy with a church convention in town, which is the largest convention possibly in the world. But these workers and the cook did amazing. We had to wait a little, but when we got our food it was piping hot and burgers were put together well. I was expecting under par at best, but it all was delicious! Kudos to these workers from a pleased family from Texas!!

Store was not very clean, outside was worse, Never got food. Whoever was taking orders at the window was not remotely understandable so after several attempts I apologized and went inside. Trying to order at the kiosk was a total nightmare, nothing came out on the order right, touch screen only worked 1 out of 10 times you touched it then it would be something incorrect you couldn’t fix again.

It’s pretty cool to go to a place that you can sit down and eat your food. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to do this. And actually get to enjoy it, not grab it and take it home and stuff. It makes a difference when you can eat it at a restaurant, nice and hot.

Waited for 30mins for one burger with fries. People inside were angry to say the least waiting for their food. The bathrooms were nasty and smelled. Standing there watching the drive-thru. A young lady walked in 20 minutes after I did ordered five burgers, five french fries, and five sodas. They called her number within 4 minutes. Mind you I had already been there 20 minutes and there were people there before me still waiting. I wouldn’t recommend ever going to this particular one. I wanted to dine in, but after waiting for 35 minutes for one burger and french fries I took it to go. NEVER GOING BACK.

The slowest drive through I’ve ever been in. I’m actually still in it. I ordered, paid, and was told to pull forward to wait for my food. It’s been at least 15 minutes. Do they have only one employee? It’s not even a lunch rush or anything. Its almost 2:00.

My mom visited yesterday around 4:30/5pm. Ordered 3 garlic steak burgers. Was asked to pull up passed the window. A female worker brought her food and when asked which burger was well-down, the worker said, “I don’t know, I just bring the food out”. When my mom asked to speak to a manager, the worker was dismissive and told my mom she had to go inside. The MANAGER was very rude and disrespectful. My mom asked for a refund for the burgers and the manager told her she needed to return ALL the food, including her milkshake in order to receive a refund! My mom called after leaving and asked for the district managers’ info or someone above her and the manager hung up the phone after stating, “I am the manager”.

Worst Steak n Shake period! The manager was about as rude as it gets. Was extra snippy and somewhat hostile when asked for a cup for water for my to go order. Not only was there bad customer service, but the manager genuinely acted like I grieved her in some way by being there. This is not what I expected out of a manager, let alone Steak n Shake. I am extremely disappointed.
