My husband and I live down the street from Funky Calavera’s new permanent spot and have been wanting to try it since it moved in. We finally made it over tonight and it was SO GOOD!! not only was the owner great to chat with but the tacos were amazing. We’ve had a lot of tacos in our life but these rank up there with the best!!!

Delish! The service and food were both amazing! Manny the owner is very attentive. The bartender at the Revel hotel was very nice as well and his drinks were good. It was our first time to eat and drink here (hubby and I), and we will be back.

I am from San Antonio and as a rule don’t usually eat Mexican food when I am out of town but was staying at Hotel Revel and was hungry so decided to try this food truck. They had the BEST birria quesadilla!! It was huge and the taste was exquisite! Can’t wait to try something else!

I’ve ate here twice, and both times it has been some of the best food and service I’ve ever had. I have DREAMS about that damn birria, and the hot sauce makes my mouth water just writing this review. The owner is one of the nicest guys I’ve met and the food is sinfully delicious. If you’re on the fence about trying this place out, don’t be – do yourself a favor and just go.

These tacos are definitely best in town! Birria tacos are authentic! Real deal those guys are doing something amazing! Staff is so cool and helpful and are not shy to make ya a taco worth every penny! The truck is so clean and the logos and lights there’s no other truck like it in Fort Worth! If you are looking for tacos this is the place! I highly recommend!!!!

Love this Taco Truck! The guy Manny who runs it is super nice, but the food is killer. I especially love the new location on 8th Ave near Magnolia — lots going on there with other restaurants which seems to be creating a bit of a new “scene”. Funky Calavera definitely adds to that scene in a big way. You can also order your food and eat it inside Sugarman’s which is a sweet cocktail bar in the same building as Revel Hotel. Highly recommend!
