I’m not sure what all the hype is. The food we tasted is certainly not worth the prices one pays. They couldn’t even get my burger cooked well done. The salad was bitter and sour. The kids spaghetti was room temperature and some cold spots. But the worst of all was the fries! They were greasy!! As if the oil was not hot enough. The ambiance was on point and service was phenomenal.

I came here with my family for Arizona Restaurant Week. It’s within the Phoenician so parking is a bit of a nightmare and I ended up paying $10 for parking which is ridiculous. To get to the restaurant you enter through the lobby, turn right, walk down a flight of stairs and then you’ve reached Mowry & Cotton. I ordered the steak which I loved. It was cooked medium as requested and the mushrooms that came with it were amazing. My sister and dad ordered the same dish and requested it medium as well but that’s not what either of them received. One was very well done and the other was medium rare; for a high end restaurant with expensive prices this was very disappointing. Loved the rustic Americana ambience and the food presentation was lovely, however the execution of my family’s meals was subpar.

We visited Mowry & Cotton while staying at The Phoenician for lunch. The restaurant is located on the pool side of the resort with indoor and outdoor seating available. The sausage flatbread was incredible. Some of the best flatbread I’ve ever had. We also tried the guacamole, barbacoa beef tacos, and duck carnitas. We left quite stuffed. Would give them a try again for brunch if ever back in the area.

Stayed at the resort for 3 nights, had breakfast here every morning. Fantastic food and comfortable sitting outside even though its 100+ F.

I went with my husband for our honeymoon/1 year anniversary in the beginning of June. We had Christian and Adam as our servers. They were so sweet and caring. They made us feel so comfortable. The food was phenomenal and so was the atmosphere. Adam became our new friend while we were there and even recommended that we go visit Scorpion Gulch. It was amazing. All in all, the Mowry & Cotton had great food, service, and friends there. Definitely worth it.

Had Al as a server tonight and he was more than amazing! Everything was delicious, cocktails were fantastic, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about pretty much everything. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the monkey bread, crispy chicken sandwich, and spiced chips. Also had smoked old fashioned and a revolver. Food was good, service was great, and cocktails were the best.

We read many raving reviews of Mowry & Cotton’s breakfast menu but were sad to see that 3 weeks before our trip, all the AM reservations for our 5 day stay were booked. We decided to walk up one morning during our stay and check to see if they could squeeze us in. Surprisingly, on a Saturday morning, the wait was only 25-30 minutes. We were pleased with this as we could go back to our room or anywhere nearby and wait since they texted us once our table was ready.
