Tuscany bistro is a breath of fresh air in Pawleys Island. I have thoroughly enjoyed many lunches there. The mushroom ravioli with vodka sauce is incredible. They bring delicious crusty bread with olive oil to the table. I have never had a bad meal. Great place for a wonderful lunch or dinner.

This place is amazing. We stopped randomly while on vacation, loved it so much we ate again there today, and plan to once more before leaving. The atmosphere is very nice, and the servers are friendly and attentive. The food is worth every star you can give. Best of all, very reasonably priced.

We stopped here today and was pleasantly surprised. Nice, quaint and quiet restaurant. The prices are great too. We had the 3 meatball casserole with a side of angel hair pasta. What a good sized serving!! We all took to go containers. Can’t wait to return. Our waitress named M, (maybe Meredith) really hustled serving all. Poor little thing. Hope the tips reflected her efforts in pleasing all.

For the most part. I’d say this place is good for a meal. Although the Cesar salad was very disappointing. Barely could taste any dressing on it, would hope the presentation would be better, and another dining individual with me had ordered anchovies with theirs and only received a singular small anchovy. Entree was good and the torta dessert helped finish things off.

Wow … after getting positive comments from friends who experienced lunch here multiple times, our dinner was very disappointing. The best of the evening was the seared scallops over risotto, but the veal & eggplant dish was only acceptable for the eggplant. The veal was very thin, and very bland in taste. The Manhattans w/ Basil Hayden were $15/per, and only avg after tailoring to our taste. Service was a bit slow after the place filled up for dinner, and the piano volume was a bit too loud for conversation in the bar area. Desert was ok (Tiramisu & cheesecake), but neither was comp’d for the birthday girl (only $7 for 1), and the total bill w/modest tip was $150 (just 3 drinks total w/ the meal). If you like Italian veal dishes, try Travinia in Market Common, or Malibu in Surfside, both of which did this protein nicely.

I am not sure how long they have been open so maybe just need some time to work out the kinks. Very loud atmosphere. It would be nice for the salad to be included when you are paying $36 dollars for 3 scallops and very little noodles. My dish was mostly tomato sauce and unfortunately it was incorrect the first time. Asked for things a couple times and didn’t receive them. Had to go to hostess station twice for things we needed. And $32 dollars for a double shot seems very pricey! Our server was nice but just so busy I guess she just couldn’t keep up with everything. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant but hopefully it will improve with time.
