Good food, excellent service, friendly staff! The only problem was it was a little hard to find the place as it’s tucked back in the middle of some buildings without a clear sign. I’ll post some pics of the place from the outside so it’s easier to locate.

My first visit and I was quite impressed with the service and the food. I was looking for a Bloody Mary and some breakfast and they did well on both. My Bloody Mary was made with Miss Mary’s Bloody Mary mix so it was light and full of bacon that went well with my salmon benedict. The hash browns were nice and crispy which is the way I like them. I sat at the bar and Luiz the bartender went over and above in his service for not just me but for everybody. The atmosphere was not bad but I don’t like big open rooms when it comes to eating. Some partitions between the tables would add coziness to the large room. Good job Yemas!

Intimate, unpretentious, and comfortable. Warm and helpful servers. The food is delicious, somewhat standard fare. But cooked well. A place to dine frequently and feel at home. We had the broasted chicken and the Philly Steak and Cheese sandwich. Delicious and served fresh and hot. There is a bar, but we have not tried any of their beverages. We recommend!

Second visit. My parents and I were going out for brunch and we were considering another place at first. Hour and a half wait there. And then we remembered here, and how amazing it was the first time. Relatively busy, but we got seated immediately AND our whole order was given to us in about 5 minutes. Nothing but good things to say. Food was delicious. The fruit waffle is absolutely amazing, highly recommend. Gem in the Grove!

very hesitant when it comes to new restaurants but I’m glad I chose Yemas. Exceeded my expectations and everything was delicious. I’m actually leaving this review as im sitting in the restaurant because I’ve had just a great experience Servers are nice and welcoming, food didn’t take long at all and the atmosphere was the icing to the cake. Will be here many many more times.

Had a fantastic fish fry with my husband on a Friday night. We both had the baked cod which was absolutely delicious. Cocktails were amazing too! We also dined with the grandkids, very kid friendly. I would definitely go back.
