This is the perfect example of a college town restaurant. The way that it revolves around Moody College Journalism Major is impressive. The decor and simplistic design is very appealing. They make your order right in front of you, allowing you to pick your toppings, sauce, and cheese. The pizza itself is delicious, and the way that they don’t use plates and instead use a pizza pan is a fantastic touch. Overall, if you’re in town and exploring Austin, stop by here, and you will not be disappointed.

Super happy with my experience at the Pizza Press. The pizza options were great and my wife’s gluten free pizza was excellent too. I highly recommend the cookie and ice cream too. I loved the atmosphere and you can tell the owners take great care of the restaurant. We will definitely come back!

Really good, really close to campus! Pizza is made fresh right in front of you and fully customizable. Lots of options of sauce and toppings, you can really make it your own. The classic pepperoni (the daily) was super good on its own though. Great location as it’s walkable from campus, but parking is extremely limited. Only three spots and one is handicapped, but there are lots of paid lots around if you’re willing to walk. The space is really clean and decorated nicely. Would visit again great job

I don’t post reviews often, but this place is ridiculously good. The pizzas are made right in front of you as you pick the sauces and toppings. A super consistent conveyor belt-type oven cooks it. Nothing else comes close, hands down the best thin crust pizzas in Austin.

Pizza was pretty good. I definitely liked it more than my wife did. Little bit disappointed by the service. I would think that a place that encourages tipping, would at least offer some sort of table service. But we had to bus our own table.

Love coming to this place when I’m craving some pizza. Although it can get pretty busy when every other student is there, I like being able to design my own pizza and watch it get cooked. I have tried the garlic cheesy bread and really enjoyed it. I also always get the deep dish cookie, delicious every time!
