My first time there. The owners are really nice and sociable. They have a decent menu for subs and such. They also have several different Mexican dishes. It’s also a very small grocery type store. I ordered a sloppy joe and it was perfect

Gio’s has a lot of good options for lunch and I usually go 1-3 times per week because I know it’s going to be quality and actually freshly made. Try the tortas and/or burritos, very tasty. His friendly attitude and optimistic demeanor are contagious.

Although I don’t live in Annandale anymore, whenever I come to visit family, this is always one of my mandatory stops. The owners treat you like family and while the shop isn’t fancy, the food they make is excellent and reasonably priced.

Small convenience style store that serves good diner breakfast options. However the Latino menu is absolutely fantastic, highlights being the burritos and tortas. Fresh, flavorful, and fast, a hidden gem because of how unassuming and average the American options are. Also Gio has one of the cheeriest voices out there, his good mood is infectious even over the phone. 4 stars because the Mexican food is a little on the pricy side – $7.50 for just one chicken torta (which is a decent meal by itself).

Very good breakfast and lunch spot! The staff makes you feel at home, and the food is excellent. I enjoy all the different options you have to make your own hot tea! I had beans with my breakfast platter for the very 1st time there, and it was fantastic!!! 2 thumbs way up!!! Family owned & operated, great folks!

The food over here is good tradicional mexican food with a lot of home spices we don’t taste here in the USA. The potions here are healthy and cheap. The staff over here treat you like family. The place is super clean and does not stink at all. The seating here is limited. So if you want real Mexican food and don’t want to pay a lot this is the place to come, I’ve gone to lots of Mexican restaurants and the food is no where near close to the real seasoning that they have here. I definitely recommend.

Not sure what this guy Scott is talking about. I’ve been going to Gio’s deli since they’ve been open. I’ve had my kids birthdays catered and the expectations have been phenomenal. I have never been let down. Even when I stop in just for a quick bite or when I place a delivery. They are fast efficient and delicious! I heard the millennials call this place “bomb” and describe the food as “fire” not sure what it means but I would take that as a good thing. Keep up the great work guys!

I probably order from here once a week since we moved here last year. The food is great the, the staff are the best and they have a little of everything. They make you feel at home. I literally watched an employee and a customer talk about snow shovels for 3 minutes and then he ordered food. We love this place!

Gio makes good food in here. This is a good deli for a few reasons. First of all, he keeps the place spotless, so you know its clean. Second, he has more options than other delis. You can get the Mexican food or just get a sub sandwich. Good place to get lunch!
