A very authentic Japanese place – styled as a traditional interior, it has a pleasant ambiance, and good friendly service. The food was great. I recommend ordering non-sushi/sashimi to taste all the authentic Japanese dishes. The restaurant is expensive: sushi/sashimi was good, but in my opinion overpriced, while other dishes were really original (I’ve been told by a Japanese friend that those are traditional/non-fusion) and somewhat more reasonably priced.

Excellent food with authentic and well balanced flavors that respect Japanese cooking methods. However with many good Japanese restaurants, prices were a bit high for what you get.

My experience eating at Yopparai was quite pleasant. We were immediately seated at 7:15pm with a reservation for 7:30pm and were instructed to take off our shoes so that we could sit at the dining area.

Very fun, sat at a great table by the window. Portions are slightly in the smaller size, but overall atmosphere is excellent and dishes are authentic and very tasty. Great fried items, and nice bbq.

The experience is very good. Me and my friend ordered some sushi and roll the flavor matched the price point but nothing got out of my expectations. The chef is definitely a experience sushi maker. The presentations are beautiful. The fish and ingredients are fresh. Pretty happy experience. Good job!

I love this place and the food is good! The food is not outstanding, but the service and entire experience is! However, the food was delicious and everything was in small portions – ideal to order a lot and to share. The establishment is small…most seating is for 2 (or the bar) and there are only 2 tables in the back for 4 people each.
