Heard about this place yesterday and being from NY decided to come out and try it. Loved being able to get slices (a rarity in these parts)! The pizza was definitely among the better pizza I’ve had since moving to MN in 2014. For me, Hello Pizza in Edina is still more authentic to what I grew up with but this was probably second or third (I would probably put Joey Nova’s up there too). The crust here is a little off for me but the rest is good and I appreciate the cup pepperoni. Worth a try but I don’t know as I’ll drive half an hour for a slice.

True NY/Jersey pizza. I’ve been searching for pizza like ElMars for the last 7 years since moving from NJ – this is it! Wonderful cheese, sauce and perfect dough. Can’t beat the fresh pie & it’s great to be able to walk in a grab a slice. 10/10. Service is great as well!

Got the pepperoni/sausage slice for $6. True NY slice with savory cupped pepperoni and thinly sliced italian spiced sausage. Crust was nice n crispy since they flash bake your slices before serving them to you. They had plenty more toppings/variations as slice options or as whole pies. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the neighborhood!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and I’m so glad I finally made it in. The pizza is top notch. Probably best pie I’ve had in the 20+ years I’ve lived in Minnesota. Crust was bomb, perfect amount of toppings, pizza by the slice or get the whole pie. Homemade sausage is the truth! It’s a bit of a drive from Minneapolis, and yet, I’m tempted to go for lunch everyday. Can’t stop thinking about this place and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you like NY style pizza, give it a try. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Seriously good pizza. It’s truly good NY style pizza. By the slice pizza on the go is incredibly convenient. Big slices are even better.

I wish they had ElMar’s NY Pizza in the North Loop! They would have a line out the door on a Friday and Saturday night. I purchased 2 slices of pizza for lunch 1 cheese and 1 pepperoni with a soda for $14.00. The slices were huge! I probably could have gone with 1 slice for lunch. ElMar’s NY Pizza is NOT open on Mondays. Make sure to check the hours they are open.

Always love ElMar’s! I saw someone post on social media that they were doing bagels and I popped in there at 7:30 AM on a Thursday and got two bacon, egg, and cheese – husband and I both loved them! they also had where you could buy just whole bagels, but I think they are testing out what they go with and when they do it. The day I went in they had poppy seed, salt, everything, and plain.

This Pizza Restaurant exceeded my expectations. Truly authentic New York pizza, made by a true New Yorker. We’ve found our place and they have the ilusive white slice I couldn’t find anywhere else! The owner is incredibly humble and friendly. They have large selection of NY brewery beers available. As a New Yorker myself, I highly recommend Elmar’s
