Tried Souvlaki and Chicago Gyro sandwiches and both were great; fresh ingredients . Overall better than most other Greek places I’ve tried in DMV. The management/staff were attentive despite us visiting in peak hours.

I am of Hellenic (Greek) descent and know Greek food. We used to love this restaurant but the quality has gone down in the last year. The pork gyro and tzaziki was good. My wife also liked the zucchini fritters. However, the octopus was tougher than usual, but still good. The pastitsio had some kind of weird red sauce on it and no one at our table liked it. My granddaughter had the chicken gyro and it was dry and not very good. Frankly, nobody should order the chicken gyro over the pork gyro. The waitress that served us was great. I hope to quality returns to the previous standard. I don’t know if we will return.

Very bad service and an awful customer service, I called to place only one gyro sandwich by phone, the guy took the order told me will take 10-12 minutes only . I got there on time then I waited another 20 minutes then I asked the server how long will take my one sandwich to make. She responded in very mean way that will take more 15 minutes she didn’t apologize and she said i cancelled the order then I told her I will go and come back, I called after ten minutes to check if one sandwich ready, she told me NO we have a big order and will take more time to make, I told her if you guys have big orders and will take forever to make one gyro sandwich you should told me from the beginning instead having me wait forever, she stopped when I’m talking and she said I canceled your order and hang out in my face, what kind an awful customer service and service, I’m very disappointed to go to this place.

We had another fantastic meal at opa! mess grill. What makes this restaurant so special is the combination of the most delicious Greek food and the personal service delivered by the owner and his sons. If you’ve never made it over to Ashburn to eat at this restaurant you are doing yourself a great disservice. We had an appetizer of the grilled octopus which was out of this world then another delicious appetizer which I don’t remember the name of and our main courses were the Lamb chops which were seasoned perfectly and the fillet kebabs which were divine. We finished it off with a delicious pastry desert called Galaktoboureko. I can’t say enough about this family restaurant with the most delicious Greek food. You should check it out.
