Huge disappointment. After seeing great reviews we went to try it. Leche de Tigre was mushy and lacked flavor. The arroz chaufa had tough and chewy seafood. Grilled corvina was tasty but served on aluminum foil – not good for health (leaching) and appearance. Floor tiles were sticky. It was $72 with tip see attachment. Only upside was great service. Would not return.

Family business, the seafood is out of this world!! Everything perfectly cooked with amazing spices and the food is very traditional. They have meat too which is not the specialty tho and isn’t the best. Service is amazing aswell, everyone is very nice. Would eat here again any time I want sea food!

This place may seem like a hole in the wall but that’s just the awkward strip mall location. The food is top notch. My daughter was disappointed they don’t have empanadas but their lomo saltado was awesome and the ceviche was amazing. I’ve never gotten full off of ceviche before but it was a very generous serving for the price that I had enough left over for a snack that day. Also their tostones were cooked perfectly.

Absolutely love this place! Was recommended years ago by a coworker and Peruvian cardiologist! As a lone dinner I am always treated as though I was a large party. The staff is all wonderful. Great place to brush up or learn Spanish too. Wish I knew more.

The best ceviche for the price in Sarasota. Believe me, I know ceviche because I love it, eat it everywhere, and make it myself. Cute, busy, family-run place. They can get overwhelmed sometimes because there are only a few staff members (all related, I think?) but super nice people. Two thumbs up.

Excellent Peruvian food! Very authentic (I’m Peruvian), and masterfully crafted and perfected flavors and seasoning. I will warn that it was quite a long wait, so not for times you’re in a hurry, but it’s long because they make it from scratch right in the moment, and the ingredients are of a supremely high quality. The ceviche was on point, I can honestly say the best I’ve had in the states. And the jalea had the highest quality sea food we’ve encountered yet, breaded to perfection with just the right consistency. It felt like being back in Peru itself, which was a beautiful bonus! Highly recommend from what I’ve tasted so far!
