There’s no quality control and the food was old. Other Popeye’s fill the potato dish, but this one gives you half. The biscuits were so old and hard, we couldn’t eat them and the chicken was cold. You’d think the food would be fresh at peak lunchtime. We won’t be going back!

Beans and rice were not warm like they should be. They weren’t as flavorful as when we had them back in Tennessee. The nuggets were irregular, pinkish but crunchy and they were warm. We probably won’t go back anytime soon and that’s where we’re hungry and everything else is closed. The fried chicken tasted good and was hot. The air conditioner is working well. The bathroom was nice and clean. The biscuits were just a little doughy.

Oh man, I really wish we looked at these reviews before we decided to order online this evening for dinner. They were out of 4/5 of our drink choices. Fortunately all of our food order was in stock and shockingly correct. But we ordered online at 6:50 for a 7:20 pick up, you would think 30 minutes would be enough time to compile a moderate sized order. We were so wrong. 2 cars in the parking lot, 2 in the drive thru, and our order hadn’t even been started being compiled when we arrived at 7:23. We waited an additional 15 minutes, they forgot one of our substitute drinks, and the staff all looked either stoned or massively depressed. The young man at the register didn’t greet or ask how he could help, just gave an unfriendly nod to us when we approached. Seeing others with similarly poor experiences makes me think that this store’s longevity in this area will likely be short lived. Management might want to pay attention or else folks in this area will speak quite loudly with their wallets and provide patronage to other places in the area that are friendlier and more efficient with their time.

Ordered classic chicken combo. Included tiny serving of fries and regular size soda. Fries were barely warm. Crispy chicken sandwich was large, hot and very flavorful. Floor in front area of restaurant was not clean, especially in beverage area. Sticky and badly in need of wet mopping. No condiments or napkins in self serve area. Had to ask at service counter. First time ever at Popeyes. Generally not impressed.

The chicken texture is rubbery. It just doesn’t taste good (even with the delicious crispy coating). I’ve been there twice. However, I do love the french fries and some of the other sides. Sahuarita location (maybe other Popeyes are better.)

Place was filthy inside. Not a single person in the dining room and tables were dirty, floors were disgusting, pop machine sticky and lids weren’t stocked. Really makes you wonder what the kitchen area looks like that you can’t see. It’s a shame that a new store is allowing this so soon. Quality of food has really gone down since they first opened too. Get a chicken strip from here and one from KFC and you’ll see exactly what I mean.

I ordered an 11 piece chicken strip deal. They were ICE COLD, STIFF, OLD & TERRIBLE!!!! What is wrong with these people!!!! I don’t want lunch leftovers re fried and dry & HORRIBLE!!!! It’s a poor excuse for this chain!

We had stopped going because the service was ridiculously lazy, slow and careless. We returned last Sunday… different crew working and totally different service! They renewed our faith so we will be back. Hope they fire the ones that care less about the service and hire the ones that do a good job!! They are pretty skimpy on the sides and only fill them to half full.
