The food is good, but the portions are smaller since protein prices skyrocket, especially the oxtails. My wife and I have been enjoying their meals; oxtail, curry goat, and jerk chicken before they moved the restaurant to their current location. And plan to continue each time we visit the Richmond area.

I had the jerk chicken and I got a beef patty for my husband. The chicken was spicy and delicious. The cabbage were well seasoned. The rice and peas were ok. We don’t live far so ill definitely go back again to try the oxtails and stew chicken.

I’m so mad I turned my back on Jamaica House because this was bad.i spent almost $25 for Oxtails ..which we’re ok but my rice was watery as you can see in the picture and cabbage was salty . My beef patty was soft and had an ok flavor. I didn’t eat much and was told to bring the food back for a refund . Smh never again.

The jerk chicken is spicy but good. My hubs said the beef patties were the best around. 9$ for a “small” meal is amazing. It says small but it’s more than enough food for one person. I got full halfway through.

Went to Jamaica Kitchen food truck for the first time on Thursday on my lunch best choice ever! I got a small oxtail I had enough left over for dinner! I will definitely be back and it’s right up street from my job. You get your money’s worth good authentic Jamaican food ❤️

Real authentic Jamaican food by a real Jamaican. The oxtail was great, the curry chicken was soft and flavorful, the jerk chicken was great also. I will definitely be returning to this food truck. The owner is super nice and the food was not crazy expensive or sparsely placed on your plate. He is generous with the portion size so I can’t wait to return.

Today was my first time eating at Jamaican kitchen but I knew I had to try it when my friend ordered their pepper steak and the flavor was great. I ordered the oxtails with rice/peas and cabbage. The food came out quickly like under 10 minutes quickly but everything was nice and fresh. My coworkers smelled the fumes and was automatically interested. It’s so good but I’m too full to finish but I will be back and next time I’m bringing friends
