My husband and I were shopping in the center at the Krishna Grocery and noticed this restaurant. We wanted to give it a try and WOW! The restaurant is very clean, very welcoming. The gentleman who took care of us, very polite, very accommodating. He recommended the mango yogurt drink for my husband and the Masala tea for me. Somehow he gave us perfect recommendations for our specific palates.

I came across this place while looking for a different store and decided to try it out. So glad I did! The food is phenomenal!!! The owner is very nice and offered a couple of suggestions. We tried a dry curry dish and a normal curry dish. Both were great. We had two different kinds of naan and two different appetizers. Portion sizes are good. We have enough left over for dinner for both of us. Next time I’m out this way, I will be stopping by to eat again!

Wow, that was the BEST food we’ve eaten while in Savannah. We tried all the popular restaurants, but we were blown away by this food. I found lots of vegan options for me and my young kids and teens found chicken options that they loved. The mango lassi was delicious!

My wife and I are vegan. We had no idea we would eat at Mithass on our way to Fla. But we are glad we did. We started with vegetable pakoras which came out fresh and in fairly short order. I ordered Chana Masala medium and my dearest ordered Dal Makhani mild or with no spice. We were both enjoyed our entrees very much. We shared some with each other and I have to say next time I’ll try the Dal dish.

The staff of the Red Roof Plus hotel down the street recommended this Indian restaurant and I was not disappointed. The lamb curry was tender and well spiced. You can request a mild version and is as good. I could have given them a 5 stars, but they were out of wine. I will be back ✅

Delicious authentic Indian food . What a delight to find a great restuarant with such great food in an area surrounded by chain restuarants. Highly recommend- only wish I live here. But I will certainly return en route each year from Miami to NC .

We came in with 11 people, and ordered 3 shaaks between all of us and 10 naan, the portions were way too small and the rice was undercooked, and instead of 10 naan we were charged 11 and when we implied it’s wrong he insisted it was 11 naan and all of this costed about $200. With how bad the service was we didn’t want to give a tip but we’re already charged $45 tip with is stupid. The waiter did said the kitchen closes soon which has never been a problem, in fact yesterday we went to Olive Garden near closing and it was hands down the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. So over all horrendous service and food.
