Harry, Amar and family have been a blessing. I’ve been coming in almost weekly for the past few years after moving to the area. After trying multiple Indian restaurants, Raja has been by far the best. The staff always treats me well, talks to me and makes me feel like family. The food is the best Indian I’ve had. Although I’m moving 45 minutes away, I plan on coming back once a month to see everyone and enjoy my favorite meal. It’s hard to find a restaurant so flexible and willing to listen to your likes/dislikes to cater your tastes. Raja does an excellent job at that. I’d gladly give my money to a family owned business that offers the quality of food and service that Raja does over any national chain.

Amazingly good food and excellent service! We had dinner on a Wednesday, enjoying vegetable appetizers, Tikka Masala, Chicken Rogan Josh, Rose Lassi drink, and Garlic Naan. This is the best dine-in cuisine I’ve had in many years.

Raja India Restaurant has been on our list to try for some time based on the reviews here. When we walked there was only one person working behind the bar. He was on the phone and simply pointed at a table. Another employee dropped off water. We then waited over 15 minutes before someone came and asked if we wanted any drinks. They then went back to the bar and visited socially with someone that may have been picking up a carry out order. We waited another 10 to 15 minutes. They then went to a newer table to take an order while we had not received drinks or been asked to order food. At this point we got up and walked out. This was a Saturday night and there were only 3 tables seated. The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. The service here is non-existent.

If I could give them more stars I would. Out of all the Indian restaurants I have tried(about 6 or 7), this one is definitely the best, and they are very kind people as well. I usually order the chicken tikka masala and onion naan, but I’ve tried a few other dishes from here and they are consistently great. I will be coming back here for a long time.

Raja India caters lunches to our office occasionally. The first time they catered – I ordered Malai Kofta (spice level 6) but it was extremely sweet and the Koftas were half cooked and very hard. Even though I understand Malai Kofta is a dish on the sweeter side, it tasted as if there was no effort made to make it spicy in any way – why ask the spice preference in that case? Other restaurants around the corner do much better in following the spice preferences and serving *cooked* food. I ate it anyway and thought to myself – since their Kofta is not good, let me try ordering Paneer curry next time.

Drove all the way from Piqua. What a gem of a place! The mango lassi was the best I’ve had, ever. The right amount of sweet and tart, oh my! I had the lamb curry and my partner the chicken tikka masala. The sauce is silky and delicious. We ordered a 6/6 spice level and it was just right! Try them, you won’t be disappointed. Also, the service was wonderful. Inviting, calm and extremely pleasant. 5⭐

We ordered vegetarian & non-vegetarian thalis, the taste was really good of curry’s. Quantity is also too good, means more then sufficient for 1 person to complete this thali. They have starters as well with thali order.
