Hands down the best Pad Thai you can get. I work on the road,and have eaten Pad Thai in every restaurant thatI Ive found it. No doubt Eastern makes the best. When im working here for a week or 3 months,i ONLY eat here and 99% eat Pad Thai everyday for dinner.Everything I’ve tried from Lemon Chicken, which is perfectly cooked,to Garlic beef is delicious. Forget express, that’s like the McDonald’s of Asian cuisine. Eat healthy,eat good, try this place.

This place is so much better then Hunan Star up the street. Not Greasy, Not Oily. The Chiken is always cooked to perfection and cripsy the beef is amazing also. Everything on there menu is great and affordable! Save Yourself the stomach ache and money and stay away from Hunan Star!!! Go to a good quality chinese restaurant! Eastern Chinese is about it!!!

Can I just start out saying that this NEVER happens to me but I ordered food last week, got there only to realize that I didn’t have my debit card. My bill was $53.00 and I only had 50 bucks cash on me. The lady was so nice & let me take the food anyway. Which was so good as always. I was so touched. This is a great place with great food and even better people who work there.

Ordered on line. Waited 2 and half hours for the food to arrive. I ordered chicken chow mein, but it had very little chicken probably about 6 pieces, more onoin thing anything else and the food was so salty I could eat it.

Best combination (shrimp, chicken, steak, ham, egg, vegetables) fried rice in La Plata, MD. The Hunan chicken and Sesame chicken are also very good. If you are not into combination fried rice, the chicken fried rice is very good. The egg rolls and spring rolls are also good. If no orders are before you, they will have you out of the door under 15 to 20 minutes. I have never have waited for more than 40 minutes when the place was packed full. Very nice family run chinese restaurant.

I have ordered several to go orders and each time the same, egg rolls are decent but always a greasy aftertaste, most other menu items not much taste or flavor. Seems a little over priced for a carry out restaurant. Probably won’t go back

Eastern is one of three Chinese food restaurant or carry-out in the La Plata area. They have delivery and on this visit I decided to stop through while traveling. This evening the weather was cold outside and when I walked into the restaurant it was cold inside as well. This made my decision to order To-Go easier. This is more a Carry-Out than a sit down place. They do have four tables if you chose to eat in. The challenge is the temperature and when someone walks in you feel a rush of cold air. I ordered Shrimp with Broccoli with extra shrimp. The food was hot and good! If you want Carry-Out with fast service and delivery this is the place in La Plata.
