DELICIOUS! I had the Mediterranean chicken salad, very delicious & fresh. We also had the steak schwarma, so good! The hummus is super good. I do love hummus. Anyway can’t wait to come back & try everything. The guy in front of us said everything on the menu is amazing.

Maybe it’s us, but we were disappointed. We eat Middle Eastern food at least once a week, and we travel up to 20 miles for it. We didn’t feel like going to Mundelein today so we tried Larsa’s for the second time. Maybe we hit an off day. The soup had good flavor, but was very thinned with water – could taste the water. The dolmades filling was pasty. The tsatsiki and garlic sauces were very, very watery and so had no taste at all. No one on the staff spoke at all except to call out our order. The first time we were here, we also noted smaller than usual portions and lunch for 2, served in take out styrofoam, was $40. The restaurant is in a gas station. We saw one other customer come in, and it was 12:30 in the afternoon. Everyone is entitled to an off day, but we won’t be back. So weird to see all the glowing reviews.

The owner is amazing. The food is amazing – everything is amazing! So authentic. All homemade. Everything is good. Shawarma. Gyro. Chicken pita. Hummus. Especially the cilantro jalapeno hummus. I’ve had it all & it’s so good. So reasonably priced too! I’ve been going for 6 years now.
