We ordered papa rellena, pernil, arroz con gandules and empanadillas. Everything was ok except for the arroz con gandules. Absolutely do not recommend! The arroz con gandules was not cooked all the way and still had hard rice in it, no flavor! Maritza was great. But please cook the rice! Disappointed!

It was great to pull off 95 and find a place that wasn’t a chain. The owner was sweeping the front step as we arrived. We were welcomed and enjoyed delicious empanadas. Delicious

If you’re looking for a delicious and affordable meal in the area, then you should try this place out!!! The food was SO good and for the price you really can’t beat it. My favorite is the empanadas. The rice/chicken plate is also very good and you get more then a generous amount of food. The owner and staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, I have to say that this restaurant is a hidden gem – I stumbled upon it by chance and was blown away by the quality of the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere!! Will definitely be back!!

My sister and I discovered this place when we were leaving CVS on corner of Minton and Emerson in Palm Bay. I thought it was closed but saw the Grand Opening sign across the street and decided to go. Got pastels, alcapurrias, empanadas and small sancocho. Everything was very good! Cannot complain. Did not give it a five because, we have not tried everything!

Very disappointed! The rice and beans had no flavor and the chicken tasted old and dry. My food was lukewarm and I just was expecting better. IMO for the amount of money spent on flavorless food, I’d rather eat at Thrifty’s where you get a generous serving and the food is always great for a cheaper price.

I was surprised by just how good this place is. It is a small traditional take out only restaurant with no inside seating. Ordered two dinners, one with beef and another with pork. Both were fantastic with an obvious amount of effort put into preparation and ingredients. A variety of sides were available but the meal was more than sufficient so I was unable to try any.
