Shah’s Halal was established in 2005 with one food cart in Richmond Hill Queens on 121st and Liberty Avenue, and we’ve been tantalizing taste buds ever since.
In 2016, we developed our first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, “the best Halal Food Restaurant in Long Island NY” and we’ve definitely grown a lot since then! We know our customers are just as passionate about great food as we are.

This is one of the if not the best places to get great take out food. I work next door at Organic Krush and I make sure to come in everyday and give them food from my place. The owner is extremely caring and friendly along with her husband who makes my day every time i see him. Every worker there is nice and friendly and they always give me a free drink. Would nightly recommend to anyone around the area! The food is cheap and delicious at the same time! The negative reviews does bring this place down even though the owner and manager have been nothing but nice to me and everyone else I see dine there.

My wife ordered 2pc fish over rice and extra protein (lamb), but they punched in the order as lamb over rice so that they can charge her twice for the same stuff DELIBERATELY!!! When she asked about the wrong price (she ordered this for me multiple times before), the server was really rude and refused to correct the price. WE WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. The attitude of your server (especially the one working on March 9 night) is a big problem.

NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. The workers there are cheap and rip you off. I asked for some extra sour cream and the guy took some off the serving spoon and put a tiny bit on my platter. And they were already using a tsp serving spoon for all of the toppings. I went back to get another fork and the worker stopped and said that he already put forks in my bag.

As a local student I was pretty excited to hear that a Shah’s opened up within walking distance. But wow did they screw the pooch with this one. Extremely stingy portions, the server stares at you if you dine in, and there is no attention to quality whatsoever. They have no standards. Avoid like the plague.

I went to Shah’s having heard they make good food and the place was spectacular! The food was fresh enough you could see steam coming off the meat, and the sauce was so incredible! The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, and one of them even gave me inspiration for my final exam paper topic! I got a 98% on my paper because of this staff member! Thank you Shah’s!
