The first time I ordered due to them having delivery (which was convenient), I was surprised. The food was cooked nicely, portions were fair, and again delivery available. The next time they messed my food up and the sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and extremely dry. It was a mission to break the chicken it was so dry and rubbery. I received a $5 credit. Try them again some weeks later and one of my meals was the wrong meal altogether. Didn’t make a problem out of it, they bring me my replacement and there’s a huge hair mixed all in my food. I call back and receive a $10 credit. Due to the convenience of delivery, I give them yet another chance. I explain about the past mishaps in hopes that everything will come out correct this time. The lady says “maybe you should try another restaurant, maybe Hot Wok”. Either accept the wrong meal, extremely over cooked food, long hair in food, or try another restaurant. Heard.

I generally get delivery from First Wok a couple of times a month. Always fresh, hot, and timely. If you have restrictions or additions, they do their best to accommodate. I always get delivery at work, and they are great about sending adequate tableware and condiments. Always friendly. It’s a great, quick fix for tasty Chinese!

TWICE I have had my Capital One Card information stolen from this companies “Preferred” website. TWICE! I buy food, and literally two days later I have massive charges on my account. I couldn’t figure out how my card kept getting hacked until the second time when the only thing I bought was First Wok and then two days later (just like the first time) the random charges start coming in.

The food is really good, but they get weird when you ask for sweet and sour sauce and chopsticks. Just charge me for them, I don’t care! Other than that, It’s hard for Chinese delivery or takeout, but you can find a better place to dine IN. The dining room is old and weirdly lit. Just get it to go like everyone else.
