Amazing German food! Great wine selection, and even the sides and soup are Devine. They have outdoor seating, and the servers and their server assistants are amazing!

Really great restaurant! The atmosphere was great. Food was great. Service was great. We loved it. First time here and we will be back. We are gluten free and eating out is always hard. The chef was very accommodating and had more options than most places. The food was so tasty. We loved the pumpkin soup!

Nice staff, good atmosphere, and great food. The soup was clam chowder and it was great because flavors were on point, lots of clams, and very little potato (I despise “clam chowder” that’s just a chunky potato soup). The pork shank shown in the pics was as good or better than it looks. All the flavors were great, pork was super soft, and the sauce thats underneath is just incredible. We had brought our 2 year old as well because well we had too, and she was strangely well behaved thanks to the phenomenal food(my wife got a beef dish she really liked, but I don’t remember what it was called) . We all enjoyed our meals and will be coming back.

So for a small old school restaurant in a small town, this place isn’t bad at all. I mean, you can’t expect it to compete on equal footing with the restaurants in NYC or Charleston, but surely you don’t find your way to this area for that purpose. If you’re like me, being around this area for tourism purposes, then this restaurant will certainly suffice. I actually enjoyed their rabbit special. And the pumpkin soup was nice, it was slightly on the sweeter side, which I actually liked. Servers were great. That have indoor dining and also a small outdoor patio.

We’d been wanting to try this place for a while, and although the menu is not my style (stick-to-your ribs, old-school German), my husband was very pleased with his slow-roasted pork shank, which was nearly as big as his head! The orange roughy, although lighter, was covered in a basil cream sauce and came with a perfect risotto. Service was on point, and it’s clear the owners are passionate about their business. Quiet, cozy atmosphere, good for a date night or family meal.

The best filet mignon and prime rib in the Verde Valley. All the food is fantastic with a great selection and superb service from the staff. We started with crab cakes and Irish loaded potato skins. Then we had the filet mignon and lamb loin, each with roasted veggies. Finished it off with a monster sized carrot cake with Carmel sauce.

The main dish was excellent. The veggies were slightly overcooked. Overall a very nice visit. We’ll go back again. Recommend.
