Small little walk in shop to pick up fantastic pizza! The sourdough crust is so good! We got the Italian sausage pizza and garlic bread and really enjoyed it. The customer service was also very friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out!

I’ve ordered pizza from here twice now and both have been a good experience. Why 3 stars then? Well I decided to try the buffalo chicken pizza and I paid to have extra sauce. However my pizza barely had any sauce on it. I had to physically search for the sauce. If it hasn’t been for that then you guys would’ve definitely gotten a 5 star review. The crust is the perfect consistency of chewy and crunchy. I also got the margarita pizza which was amazing!!! I love the fresh basil on it. If you’re still on the fence, just order from them. You won’t be disappointed.

I love pizza and I try wherever I go! I was visiting family at a nearby hospital, I googled and Wheelz Pizza came up. They had great reviews on line but the pizza was something else. I think the dough is pita bread, I was not feeling it! I just couldn’t eat it.

I had almost given up on pizza, but I found Wheelz. The ingredients were premium. The pizza shop needs seating for on-site consumption. There was only 1 table. I saved contact info for next time that I’m in the area. Can’t find anything negative to say about the food.

I have no complaints about the food. In fact, this is what has kept me coming back despite poor service and a dumpy location. I typically order pizza from the 17th St. location online. I have NEVER had the pizza ready when I was told it would be. I don’t even leave to pick up the pizza until it should be ready and still have to wait 10 or more minutes every time. This time it was closer to 30 minutes. Wheelz isn’t the only pizza in town .. I’ll find a new place because this is unacceptable! I’m done with them.

I noticed that the Wheelz food truck would be downtown Wilmington today, so I decided to grab a pizza for lunch. Had no idea what I wanted, but Stefan suggested the supreme and it was the BEST pizza I’ve had! I’ll definitely order again! I ordered a large pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and it was GREAT!! Very delicious, fresh, and flavorful pizza. The service was fast and the people were friendly. I will most definitely come back and try other pizzas.

I’ve ordered from Wheelz once before and it was delivered quickly and the pizza was pretty good. It had a sourish taste almost like the crust was sour dough. I tried it again and this time it was terrible! It was covered in ALOT of grease and once I got that off the pizza was inedible. The crust was so tough I couldn’t bite into it. Just bad. Tried to call for a refund but no one answered. Not trying this place again. The pics below show the amount of grease that I lightly dabbed off the top of the pizza…gross.

If you have any choice, do not go to the wheels pizza in Midtown. This location was very run down. The employee appeared highly bothered to any someone call to order a pizza and then to come in and pick it up. They also forgot the basil to the margarita pizza. Will not go to this location again. Soren A Duryea order 66 last number is 9.
