I had a wonderful experience at Surasang Korean restaurant!!! The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and always available. The ambiance was stunning and had a distinct Korean vibe. It’s great to finally have a place like this in town. I initially visited during the soft opening, and upon returning recently, I noticed that the food quality has continued to improve. I had the opportunity to try various items on the menu, and all of them were delicious. Don’t forget to try their refreshing Mint lime-ade, just make sure to give it a good stir! I highly recommend checking out this restaurant, especially for a great lunch experience.

This Place is fantastic! Went here with my family for the first time several weeks ago and what a treat. The restaurant itself is very simple-Not much happening in the way of ambiance, but the food is amazing. We shared a seafood Hot Pot and pork rib BBQ and OH BOY!!! From the banchan to the Charm Soju everything was delightful. Can’t wait to go back.

Working in Flushing Queens I was a little skeptical getting Korean food anywhere else, but I’m glad I did.

Wow. All I can say is stay away from this place. From the moment we walked in, we were treated poorly. The waitress was extremely rude. One of the dishes we ordered was still frozen inside and we told her, and she looked at me as if I insulted her. I politely said this is still cold inside and she stood there staring at me, said something to the gentlemen behind the counter. She replies “we don’t charge you for that”. All they had to do was reheat it and we would have gladly paid for it. The gentlemen was apologetic, but not our waitress.

Delicious Korean food at a friendly family owned restaurant. They take obvious pride in their restaurant and it shows. We shared a kimchi pancake appetizer. Nice variety of banchan accompany the meal. I had a spicy seafood soup with noodles, which was outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Super sweet service.

We ask for a high chair and the waiter said very loudly that they don’t have high chair. The other lady just said just move the table closer. They later bring a booster and my 2 year old manage with the height. We ask for a soup noodle for a baby and they suggest the beef one. Once it arrived, see the picture , is more like beef soup with a few clear noodles. Not a meal but a soup. The tofu pot , see pic, was all crushed. First time seeing this in a Korean restaurant. They only talk to the Koreans and put smile on. But when serving non Koreans, they have other tones and just want you to get out.

Such a great Korean spot! The service was excellent and they explained what we ordered and what came with it. All the food was delicious but I wish the chicken was crisper.

The first time in, we came for the hot bibimbap. It was delicious. The second time we came in, we came for the Haemul Sundubu Jjigae. Also delicious. The sides are nice, the chicken wings are a bit too sweet for my taste, but still tasty. And neither of us were big fans of the kimchi soup. It was good, but it wasn’t the flavor we were looking that visit. Our waiter has been very helpful every time we’ve been in, suggesting dishes based on what we tell him we’ve enjoyed, and has a great sense of humor as well.

Came here for Mother’s Day and I have never been to a restaurant that was so rude from the get go. We made a reservation and when we walked in we were immediately asked if we called in. Keep in mind it was practically empty so it wasn’t like there were no available tables for walk-in. The waitress came over with 3 glasses of water and 1 glass of hot tea. My husband asked if he can have a glass of hot tea also and the waitress looked at him like he had 2 heads. She made it seem like he was not allowed to ask for hot tea. Ten minutes later she returned to take our order. We ordered seafood pancake, dumplings and 4 entrees. When the dumplings came my husband and daughter each took one. The dumplings were still cold inside so we told the waitress and she replied ok and shrugged. The man behind the counter asked her what was wrong and she replied in korean that we said there was something wrong with the dumplings. He said something and she goes NO. So he says to us we will take it off the bill no charge. We said the dumplings aren’t cooked, it’s cold that’s all. After that exchange we didn’t even want to stay for dinner. The food came and it was subpar. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant at all. Food and service was beyond horrible.
