What a horrible experience! I ordered souse, It was poorly seasoned wood scraps of Cow heal and was extremely oily instead of savory. The oxtails were rubbery and tasteless, and finally the Pholourie was dry and overcooked plus they didn’t put any sour in the bag …never again!

There was a long wait to get the food. The jerk chicken was dry and nasty. It tasted burnt and had too much seasoning… so much that there was no authentic jerk taste at all. It was smothered with a bunch of peppers and nasty sauce. First and last time. Whoever is responsible for cooking this food did a terrible job. Sorry not sorry. I threw my dish in the garbage. Waisted time and money. Drive down the street to Negril or go to the spot on Marlboro Pike. Anywhere but here

I would like to share my recent experience I had at Taste of Caribbean, which unfortunately left me very disappointed. I have dined here on multiple occasions, and while some dishes were enjoyable, there is a lack of consistency in their food. Despite this, I have continued to support the restaurant due to my commitment to patronizing small businesses, especially those owned by Black people. However, my most recent visit was a letdown, and the subsequent customer service I received while trying to address the issue was deeply troubling.

I had the oxtail, and it was very good. The lady that helped me was very sweet and generous with the serving. The oxtail came hot with hot beans and rice and steamed cabbage. FYI: carry out only.

Very unprofessional idk how they’re still in business. I walked and two coworkers came to the front and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that we were there! They came and went straight back to the kitchen talking and laughing back there . I really don’t understand why isn’t there anyone in the front to attend to the customers. This lady came in and had to walk out because of the long wait and no service at all and the food isn’t even all that for the wait. Caribbean ppl need to do better when it comes on to customer service and running a business.

This was my first time here and I got the veggie lo mein and an order of doubles. I have had both dishes at plenty of restaurants and understand that everyone uses totally different ingredients however this one wasn’t so good. I didn’t think I would experience this. The doubles were hard and dry, which was shocking as I thought my order was made fresh. I wouldn’t return.

Meals prepared for door dash delivery are substandard and unacceptable. In essence, the restaurant receives payment for food not provided. I ordered a chicken wing dinner to include rice and peas and cabbage. What was delivered was dried chopped white meat, not a single wing. No cabbage was provided.

The snapper I had was pretty good, I loved red sauce that it was cooked in. The doubles I had was ok, I have certainly had better Caribbean food in the area. I did not like that most of the food was up at the counter and not made to order like most Caribbean spots I know. I hear hype about this place all the time and although the staff was very nice and accommodating, I can’t say that it lived up to the hype.
