Pretty impressed the only thing I can suggest is to put more seasoning on the boils in the pictures I see some that look like they have some kind of red seasoning maybe Old Bay or something I just feel like it didn’t have enough season it needs more sneezing in on it… Love those boxes they put them in overall it’s high quality.

We noticed this place opened a few months ago and was excited to try it out. The building was well lit inside with a couple large screens TVs and one with a static menu. I like the idea of having the menu on the TV but personally I think it would be nice if it also included scrolling pictures of the menu items. After finally deciding on a couple pots (shrabpot and shrimppot) we waited inside the dining room for the food. It didn’t take too long for the order to be made and we headed home.

Pretty disappointed.. We ordered the ‘Shrabpot’. The pan was half empty, mostly potato’s and we got one tiny piece of crab.. We spent $50+ after drinks/tip and the small piece of crab we got, two of its legs were missing… Last time we ordered it, it was pretty good and shareable, not sure why it changed so much.. Check your pans before you drive all the way home, we got ripped off. We ended up having to cook another dinner after spending $50+ on this one.. Not too happy.

My family and I used to swear by this place, 5/5 stars, then now it seems like it is under new management and the title has changed to a Hispanic restaurant. We did our normal HUGE order which we do a few times per year, and ordered early. Then at the time it was expected to be completed we received notification on our phone that they were “unable to complete your order” … leaving us hung out to dry with guests expecting a crazy good spread. Called and called and called and never any answer. Went back to our previous go-to … Wicker’s Crab Pot! As of now … Currituck Crab Pot is a joke. That’s not how your run a business.

crab legs & shrimp were good, as well as the corn, potatoes & sausage, but by the time you do pick-up & drive home, it’s extremely hard to keep it hot which makes it a lot harder to pick crabs & shell shrimp
