Late night Saturday I wanted a craving for some nachos. I stopped at this restaurant for the first time. As you can see by the photo, they do not hesitate to deliver! The Carne Asada is chopped and seasoned to perfection. Nachos came with beans pico de gallo guacamole and very thin tortilla chips. Am I opinion I would change the tortilla chips to something thicker because it cannot support the weight of the ingredients.

We drove up about 11pm and decided to get their Carne Asada fries. Got home and noticed their portions had gotten smaller and at the price of a little over $14 it did not sit well with me. Food was ok…not hot just warm (we live 4 mins away) Not sure I will be going there again.

I live right around the corner from Happy Taco but had never been! However, recently I found I needed a late-night meal and my experience at Mr. Cowboy’s (7th St & Roeser) is it’s a long wait for your food so I decided to opt for this restaurant.

If I could give negative stars I would. The staff was first off extremely rude when they messed up my order. They overcharged my card and didn’t want to refund me. They blamed me for their misunderstanding and wouldn’t give me my right food. I stayed in the drive thru for 30 minutes trying to fix a miscommunication all for them to get angry take the messed up food back and take another 30 minutes to make it. I don’t recommend this place at all save your money.

Ordered the Carne Asada cheese quesadilla and it was AMAZING!! Carne Asada seasoned perfectly with a great flavor all melted together with the cheese. Service was friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to trying something different but this was really good. Will return.

Randomly stop for some authentic Mexican food. Great value , large portion size with all the fixins (chimmichaga) a must ….super awesome family run business, in my humble opinion one of the best chimmichaga ‘s in all New Mexico!!!!

If I could give them no stars I would. I went through their drive thru and ordered food, when I got home (a couple blocks away) I opened my containers and my food looked so gross. I called them and all they said was there’s nothing they can do about it. You would think they would want to take pride in their food, but they don’t. I will not be going back.
