While camping in the mountains we visited this “hole in the wall”. What a pleasant experience and surprise! People were friendly as was the staff. Prices were very reasonable, especially since the prices were low. Service and the small town atmosphere were awesome! Will definitely return in the future on our next trip.

We go out of our way to eat here. In fact we live in another county but go to Bessie’s diner. Food and service are excellent. We have had Kayla as our waitress twice and she is amazing. She is the most organized person I have met. The food is exceptional also. Don’t waste your time looking for another place to eat if you are in the Marion area. You can’t beat Bessie’s Diner.

The food was inexpensive, was delicious, and came out pretty fast. Our server (tall blonde) was awesome. She treated us like people and brought out our toast first and was on point with everything else. Well worth the stop. Thank you.

A clean, bright roadside dinner with delicious food. 100% would recommend. Waitresses were awesome- I never saw the bottom of my coffee mug. Grill was doing a great job- every item ordered was cooked just as we requested, and we were a party of 5, with 2 picky eaters under the age of 9.

A pleasure to find an authentic local place–we were the only tourists there. The food was tasty, but I was a little put off by the imitation cream and the slice of Velveeta on my omelette. The service was charming, as was the atmosphere.
