We really enjoyed the food here! The book choy is great and the potstickers were quite authentic as well as a few other dishes. It seemed quite busy for a quiet little place, the service seemed a little stressed but still, the food was great!

They do make authentic Chinese dishes here. But the portion is on the small side, and some dishes are quite sad. The steamed pork with rice flour is just so old it’s probably frozen for a long time. We heard the chef went back to China recently and may or may not return. The owner made the dishes for us. I surely hope the chef will return. The old man server is great, but the place is quite unkempt and layout is poor. Probably won’t return.

Where to begin? $17 for $5 of food. Gen. tso chicken large. Cold, not spicy. Lunch special size 4 full price. Fried rice w nothing in it. A frozen food type made in a warehouse egg roll that probably came out the frozen section they charge me $2 for that. And my dish had four or five pieces of broccoli. Conservatively speaking we’re looking at a $1.60 worth of rice. $0.50 worth of broccoli and maybe $3 worth of chicken. 0.50 spring roll. I will never go there again. I could have spent the same money at Texas Roadhouse and got a steak salad and potato. I wish I could give it no stars. Even in the midst of all the covid madness and hyperinflation there’s no way I got my money’s worth over there today. A lot of these places in Athens need to shut down. Go to peach pit BBQ their food is always great right around the corner. I just noticed on the receipt they even charged me a credit fee and I paid with cash. Theives!

Best, and most authentic, Chinese food in town! A lot of Chinese students and staff at UGA order their lunches and eat there. The Chef was trained in China. However, it is not fast, they prepare everything when you order it and they have a large takeout business. Well worth a visit, best Sizzling Rice soup I have ever had. They also do Gluten Free.

Authentic Chinese, not Americanized food. The fried rice is not greasy at all, for example. I absolutely LOVE their food. The wonton noodle soup is so good! The portions aren’t huge like most places, true, but the food is fresher and more homemade.

We drove an hour from Atlanta to get take-out food from Wok Star! We ordered assorted beef as our appetizer, hot spicy boiled fish, Mongolian beef, shredded pork with tofu noodles & peppers, and fried rice as our entrees.

Delicious and authentic Chinese food! Took my daughter here when we were helping her move into her dorm and really enjoyed it. My daughter couldn’t handle a lot of spicy food but they were able to reduce the spice level without compromising the savory taste, which we found to be quite impressive.

The food is great. You can get authentic Chinese dishes here. You also will pay more than a typical American Chinese restaurant. You can get good deals from restaurant. c o m and through Verizon to help cover the cost. We ordered 4 different dishes and were very pleased with our orders but there were no leftovers, which is very unusual for us when we get Chinese takeout. The portions are not the typical size for the price. The food is not so much better than typical takeout that I can justify paying their prices regularly.

I was completely ignored by the only staff member present in the dirty, cluttered dining room. He said not a word while I stood then later sat for close to 15-20 minutes. Small portions, chicken n veg was chicken n broccoli, flavor was just OK. I took 3-4 bites then vomited. Hopefully it will not make my 89 year old Mother sick. I wish I had my money back and my 15% tip. More disappointed than I can express. I am a 30 plus year restaurant professional by the way and this business is Not Doing it Right.
