First visit to Nana’s. Everyone recommended as a Durham institution. It did not disappoint. From the cocktails, to entrees to dessert, everything was amazing. My wife ordered the duck and I had the swordfish. Both were outstanding.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! We found this place on a “best of” list our first night in Durham – so glad we did! Ended up going back for a second time before our trip was over. The servers were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was presented beautifully, and tasted even better. The menu changes seasonally, but the cast iron chicken is apparently a year-round staple. Hands down the best chicken I’ve ever had. You MUST dine here if you’re in Durham.

My wife and I had dinner at Nana’s last week to celebrate her birthday and we had a terrific time. Although our reservation was for 7:00pm and we weren’t seated until 30 minutes later, we were able to enjoy drinks at their bar which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Early reservation before the show at DPAC. From the time we were met walking in the door, till the time we left, the staff was friendly, and efficient. Our waiter, Michelangelo, was simply great. Prices on the wine and menu selections were reasonable. We had the Scottish salmon and the pork.

Fabulous place for food and drink. They’re able to alter dishes to suit dietary needs, which isn’t always easy sometimes with multi-course meals. They did it without a fuss, and it was great. The people here care about providing a great dining experience. This is one of the best restaurants in Durham or anywhere else.

Starting with the complementary valet and then the upscale chic environment this place has it going on. The food is fresh and very good, great wine and very pleasant staff. I’d definitely go again. Have read the comment about the sanitation grade and I would like to see the highest grade possible as well. It’s a beautiful place looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu; these people take food seriously. Good job.
