Wanted to try something new and looked at the menu and everything looked delicious. We ordered our food and it came out WAY faster than we expected. We got the bao bun bundles 2 w/ an egg roll and 1 w/ fries. It was amazing!! We also got 2 Thai teas with coffee jelly and a Vietnamese coffee(they let you have a sample because it’s very strong) the tea tasted like a dessert and the coffee was perfect for someone who loves the taste of coffee. We did order more food after devouring every thing we originally got and loved that as well (bulgogi rice bowl and wagyu burger and fries). Only negative is portion sizes felt closer to a lunch than a dinner but over all can’t wait to go back!!

Wow, wow, and wow. I wasn’t looking for this place or food type but dang. This stuff is amazing. I had the Bang Bang Chicken Bun and Pork Belly Bun and fries. The pork was an actual slice of pork with the fat still on it!! I enjoyed the first two I went back for the Shrimp Bun and Char Siu Chicken Bun. Be wary about the fries, they are spicy but delicious as well.

Excellent place to grab a quick lunch. I got Beef Bulgogi Bowl (pretty spicy) but perfect for lunch. Going to try the steamed buns next time they looked great.

Good food but their baguette for the bahn mi could be better. Very soft. I personally like more crunch. Pork belly is my go to. Juicy and delicious.

Delicious! The fries with the aoli is cravable, the bulgogi patty melt was oh my word so good, the little slider-sized steamed buns are great. Though, I’ll be honest, I could pass on the wantons. It’s also walkable from the myriad gardens and has a lot of natural light. I recommend trying this place.

Delicious!!! Got the 2 bun bundle with pork belly and bangbang chicken. Got the chicken philly egg roll for my side. It was all delicious! They also have a military discount. Will absolutely be back.

I honestly wasn’t expecting to find good bao in OKC and Cafe de L’aise was a pleasant and reasonably priced surprise. The menu is small but when the food is that good you don’t need a big menu. The cheese steak egg roll was a fun and unexpected menu item.

The char siu chicken bun was delicious and the chicken bang bang bun even better. But the cheeseburger egg roll is the best thing on the menu. Crispy and cheesy and delicious. Great value too. Perfect spot for a quick lunch downtown.

This place is a hidden gem! First time having buns and had them two days in a row as well as tried the chicken cheesesteak egg roll, with the sweet and sour. that’s a tasty egg roll right there! My favorite buns are the Fried Shrimp bun, Char Siu Chicken bun, Honey Sriracha bun, and the Bang Bang chicken bun! The sauces on these are perfect. No substitutions or altering needed! Will probably order more today!

Work dinner while in town for convention. I ordered the Pork Belly Bowl ($10.25) while co-workers went with Kung Pao Tofu Bowl ($9.25) and Beef Bulgogi Bowl ($10.75). A Togarashi Fries ($3.50) split among us 3 rounded the order out. All the bowls were properly portioned, fresh, and delicious. The fries, however, were perfect. Crispy. Airy. Yummy. Good service. Clean dining room. We very much enjoyed dinner here.
