Had dinner with friends and family. Great cocktails and food. A little bit pricey but it’s one of the very few good restaurants in that neighbourhood so I still recommend it and would go again. You really need to make a reservation since it always pretty full.

Food was absolutely delicious. One of the 6 people in our party ordered rice instead of potatos and ordered their steak mediu. The rice was never replaced, and the steak was well done. Another one of the 6 ordered a 2 3/4 lb lobster and didnt have alot of meat in it was mostly stuffing when it came to the bill we paid with cash and the waitress took the bill and cash to where ever she was to check us out came back and stated we were 100 dollars short so with out any conflict we paid another 100 dollars and left

Stopped in here Thursday night and was told they were fully booked but there was space at the bar upstairs. At first we weren’t sure we wanted the “bar vibes” for a dinner but we were hungry and tired from traveling and decided to give it a try. Elizabeth was our server/bartender and immediately greeted us with a smile and menus. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice but the service is what made us come back again. Elizabeth was so pleasant and helpful even though she was running around very busy the whole time. She engaged in conversation with us. Recommended drinks and entrees and even just made small talk with us to make us feel more welcome! We decided to come back Sunday AND Monday night too mostly due to her and every time she was the absolute BEST. We tried different food and drinks every time and it was all delicious! We will definitely be making a yearly trip here!

Had a great stuffed lobster with scallops. The mashed potatoes were delightful but not as warm as we would of liked. Unfortunately aldente green beans were very hard, little too crispy for our liking. The server was fantastic, professional but yet very humble. Really the only issue we had was we ate on the patio and it turned very chilly and we asked that the sides be pulled down. ( also the other guests were complaining too) they never made it happen so at this point we paid and left.

So here is my experience. Don’t get the stuffed lobster. There was NO crabmeat in the stuffing. There were only two scallops. The only crab meat I was able to enjoy was in the claws. Yet I payed $36 for a lobster AND $15 extra for them to stuff it. Do they use the crab meat for someone else’s lobster roll? Or was the kitchen staff hungry? I went with a party of 8, and my friends stuffed lobster was the SAME WAY. No lobster except in the claws! We felt cheated. Unfortunately, our reservation was for 8pm and by the time we got our appetizers and meals they were closed (9pm), so we didn’t mention our food to the waitres as it was late and the restaurant was empty. Everyone else’s meals were great! Appetizers were great! No problems there. But I feel like the stuffed lobster is a scam. Only one more hangup, a party of 8 gets stuck in the back by the mop buskets!!! We chose Joseph’s for the VIEW. So that was disappointing. The place is beautiful though. Just go with a smaller party, and avoid the stuffed lobster.

First time here since reopening after the fire. Made reservations for my husband’s birthday,on the patio, so I thought. Ended up inside. It was the perfect night to sit outside. Our reservations were at 5. We were told the patio was fully booked, couldn’t sit there. We left at 730, still were 2 empty tables.I was not happy. Had the garden salad, calamari, Korean BBQ Steak tips, baked stuffed haddock, all were delicious. Michelle our waitress was super nice.

Excellent by the sea restaurant. We had the Calamari appetizer which was real not cut from a machine and previously frozen. Our entree was a wonderful and scrumptious Plate of Burrata Ravioli with mushrooms and fresh asparagus. The portions were generous and left no room for dessert. Our table was on the patio with a panoramic view of the ocean. We were served by a professional waitress and staff. We will dine at Joseph’s again this summer and recommend you try it also. BUT be sure to call ahead for reservations.

This is a must dine and drink in place for fancier dining in OOB Not only excellent food and service but is overlooking the wide expanse of blue ocean and dune grass Has large windows or sit out on the patio. Or go upstairs for a large bar or Patio on the roof for dining and drinks as well.
