Completely underwhelming. Could not taste the oysters through the flavorless crumbs. Drinks were not good and at $17 a pop. The haddock was cooked ok, it’s sauce was a bit better and the rice was nice but overall uninteresting. The biggest problem was the tuna. INEDIBLE. The person who ordered it cannot eat raw fish due to a serious health restriction. Due to this she always asks for something like tuna to be cooked through. Usually it’s done quite well so that the fish is still flavorful and not over cooked. Our waitress was very clear that she understood and explained it like that to the kitchen (she was lovely). However, this tuna was horrible. It was like a tough beef steak- unrecognizable. We didn’t complain but were shocked when they saw she hadn’t eaten it yet they didn’t say anything. On top of all that while the servers were all quite lovely there needs to be better training. 3 different people , one after the other , tried to take the salad that was still being eaten and another reached over us while eating to remove an empty glass. Just strange. The second star is because the staff tried, they had the great fish sculpture from the Frying Pan Gallery and the ambiance is decent.

Bluefins Sushi & Sake Bar in Chatham’s little town area was a delightful discovery. The Blistered Shishito Peppers were savory and delicious. The Dragon Roll looked amazing, and my wife enjoyed it but found the sushi selections a tad less than overwhelming. The Miso Marinated Atlantic Salmon was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying Okinawa Yam Puree, Yu-Choy, and Yuzu Butter was savory and delicious, and the puree had great flavor. I think I was more impressed than my companion but she has been to a lot of great sushi spots. The service was friendly and attentive. A great spot for a quick dinner in Chatham.

We were 15 minutes late we were in a lot of traffic getting out of Boston. They called us and held our table. Service was great. And the food was even better. Our server Ashley was very helpful and had a good understanding of what was on the menu.

Heard great things at Blue Fins, so i took my family for the night out. Let me tell that this might be the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. I had family members unable to finish because it was inedible. The fried rice was mushy and the sausage in it was uncooked. The drinks were the only thing that was enjoyable. Save your money considering everything on the menu is over 20$.

Great food, great service! We were not impressed with the chicken that came with the pad Thai so they took it off the bill. They accidentally brought us a different sushi roll then we ordered so they let us keep it and got us the one we ordered. Very impressed and will definitely come back! Good drinks also!

While one of Chatham’s nicer restaurants which is more like a true city-style place, a nice selection of well-prepared sushi but it’s also equally disappointing. The service is rushed, and you will be pushed to order and get out. It’s very off-putting especially with the pretentious staff at the front desk.
