And it’s been like this since we opened the doors of the first TOGO’S in San Jose, California back in 1971. We made the meatiest, most delectable sandwiches around. Stood staring at indifferent unfriendly staff for 5 minutes being totally ignored. Went across street to Subway. If I was owner or manager of this joke I’d be concerned with losing business. I used to like Togo’s, but quantity and quality of meats has been declining, especially pastrami. For the (increased) price, there is far too much inedible ligament in the pastrami (photo is from 1/3 of the sandwich). Even Subway has better pastrami now.
