It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Overnight crew flat out refused to take my order, instead playing and mocking on the drive-thru intercom. Disrespectful, irresponsible, and bad for business. A call to corporate was equally as frustrating and a waste of time. This is the second time I’ve left without being able to order due to the employees. I won’t return.

Went to this whataburger after a long day trip. Drive thru line was short but too forever to get our food. The people behind us had gotten their food first and had to wait an extra 10 minutes for us to get ours so they could leave. We get home. Our fries are not fresh (cold and bland), burger is barely wrapped in a wrapper. All the veggies and condiments weren’t even in the wrap. They were all in the bottom of the bag. This location has had so many issues with wait times and order issues.

I started going in during the last freeze since it was the only place open. Now I go 5+ days a week. The staff are all great and the restaurant is always very clean. There is one young lady who is always cleaning inside, outside, the restrooms everything. Honestly I don’t think I have ever seen her not working to ensure a great experience. This location is what all should strive to be.

Waited over 20 minutes at drive-thru for 2 patty melts. The patties were dry and cold. The onions were OVER-COOKED, charred, and had a bitter taste . Also they put so much sauce that the buns became soggy . The WORST patty melts we ever had.
