The service and atmosphere was ok. The food started good but my chicken fried steak was underwhelming. Great size…but it tasted like old oil. I guess it could be great on another day maybe??

I hosted a rehearsal dinner here for 60 people. The food was wonderful. Everything came out hot and well prepared which is quite an accomplishment for such a large party. The wait staff truly did everything they could to be prompt and courteous. I will definitely make the drive to have the chicken fried steak again.

Went for a wedding reception. The staff was very friendly, proficient, and had great attitudes. The chicken fried steak was huge, and it was ok. It really was nothing special, but not terrible. The mashed potatoes were bland, and tasted like they came out of a box. We had a good time, although I expected a lot better food by the looks of the place.

We were the only customers thankfully cause from what I could tell there was only one waitress and everything seemed to be cooked fresh so I couldn’t imagine what it would be like when it’s busy. Menu has great options. I ordered water and my glass had leftover tea syrup? on it. It was strong enough to stay attached to the glass after washing but I knew it was tea. Food was awesome. I plan on returning soon. Music was almost too loud for how empty it was in there. I know it seems like I’m bashing the place but all in all it was delicious and cozy and I can’t wait to return.

This is not a very busy place. Staff is low. The bar has a good variety of activities. Wednesdays they have a pool tournament that is very popular. Thursdays they have karaoke. Staff is friendly but at times slow. Its not a good place to go of you’re in a rush. It is a very laid back place. Their food is good. I personally adore the cobbler because it is homemade. It is great if you have a large group of friends just wanting to hang out. On Friday’s that have live music and an outdoor area that is nice in the spring and summer.

Great place to go and have a few drinks and a burger. All the bartenders are fun, friendly, and very bubbly. Karaoke nights on Thursday and Saturday are always fun especially when the bartenders pick up a mic and the live music on Fridays are well worth the cover! If you go once you’ll get hooked!

Came in from out of town and was looking for a different experience so we suggested to our party of 8 to come here instead of Chili’s where they were already planning to go. Got there at 6:00 PM. It took just under an hour for us to be seated. Waitress was friendly and took our drink orders promptly and later took our food orders soon thereafter. But the food didn’t arrive until 8:00 PM. Everyone’s food actually seemed better than I expected given some of the bad reviews on it. I had the chopped brisket sandwich which was good and tried the pulled pork sandwich which was fine. The chicken fried steak sandwich looked amazing and the chicken fried steak plate was large and obviously filling. The sweet potato fries were decent. I was really hoping this place would make a better experience for all of us but the extremely long wait was a bit frustrating.

Its ok, steaks are terrible, had no taste at all, tasted like a steak you get off the discount counter where if you don’t cook it right then it goes bad, not seasoned at all, no salt or anything. Staff was friendly, beer was cold, my wife’s burger was good, taters both baked and mashed good, fried pickles bad mostly oil, but horrible steak. Probably will not come back.
