My Nana who is a local raves about the mushroom burger and so we go often and enjoy the live music and fish tank while dining. The burgers and patty melt are absolutely delicious and they’re generous with the proportions. I forgot his name, but the gentleman who serves us a lot of the time does a great job and seems to remember us now when we come in.

If you want to meet the rudest meanest people that patronize an establishment, go to king Neptune’s. Very hostile environment that pretty much says it all….in Huntington Beach, many people with money are suffering self inflicted and other emotional abuse and want to direct their anger, disappointment, loneliness and dispair at others to release some of that pain that they are feeling. They realized as they got older that money does not buy love and cannibalizing ones life and spiritual energy towards financial success leads many to an empty shell.

This may have been a restaurant in the past, but it’s a pub now. They had some yummy seafood options, but only bar seating and a few high-tops. A “restaurant” denotes family-friendly, and this place was not. The pub distinction is an important one as our family has two kids and had to order “to go” once we walked inside. Later, we saw another small family do the same thing, eating in their car instead of going inside. The food was in smaller portions and without garnish, consistent with my assertion. It’s a five star pub, but a four star restaurant.

I was told everything is good here & although it sounds like options are endless, I will still probably order these same items. Such a treat, to enjoy a delicious meal
