This used to be a great DQ but over the past few years things have changed. Management doesn’t seem to care about customer service and they are quick to make excuses. The food isn’t as good. Portions have gotten much smaller like everywhere but the prices have gone up much higher. Other DQ I have been to have lower prices. Any ice cream size under a large is more or less a small. I ordered a medium sundae and it was the same size as the small cone we got for free on the app. Blizzards don’t have as much ingredients anymore just ice cream. Burgers haven’t been that warm either. Sure wish the owners would make changes to make it more like it used to be. For now we will go to a different DQ or other business.

We got hamburgers here this week. Service was fairly fast but we had to pull around and park until it was ready. They were pretty good and a lot better than McDonalds. I love their ice cream but can no longer eat it.

This dairy Queen has been a friend of my little girls. They are all grown up now. They reflect back on the special dessert for their birthday parties . They were specifically designed with them in mind. They loved the colorful ice cream cakes. We are on our next generation of children’s birthday parties, with the same excitement from years ago . They can provide your family with the same beautiful, fun, and colorful cakes. They have a pretty good Crispy Chicken Sandwich as well. Thanks for the memories. You will thank them as well. My grandchild and I got there at 9:00 pm and the boy that took our order said that you can’t order a hamburger after 8:00 pm which confused me why they are open till 11:00pm and you can’t order what’s on the menu. After we ordered something that we really didn’t want I asked him why I can’t order a hamburger while I’m there but I can order one online. He said that they make enough burgers ahead of time to fill the app orders which almost made me sick thinking that the burgers are pre-made just sitting there waiting to be ordered on the app. I told him I wasn’t happy and asked to talk to the manager and he confirmed what the other guy told me but I mentioned that they had about 10 people back there playing around not doing anything and I think they had time to make a burger.needless to say he went back there and everybody got busy and they all started working because I told the manager that I was going to call his District Manager. I spent over 34.$ for one of the worst chicken meals I have ever had and don’t bother trying to get in touch with a district manager because it’s impossible. My grandchild even said he wouldn’t go back there again.i was in business long enough to know that they have a management problem but it doesn’t matter if you can’t call and complain

I wanted to express how amazing my service was at the DQ Hixson location. I needed an ice cream cake for my son’s birthday and Alyssa was a huge help. I walked into the store with 2 young kids and Alyssa quickly met me at the freezer to see how she could help get a cake out of the freezer for us. She started a conversation with my son and acknowledged his birthday. She decorated the new cake with extra chocolate and made it his with Minecraft rings. She was very kind and helpful. My husband was going to get food for us this evening. He was told when he ordered in the drive thru that they don’t do hamburgers after 9, just chicken and ice cream. If they aren’t going to serve hamburgers after 9, they should close at 9. If you want a hamburger from this place, you need to get there before 9. That is absolutely absurd. We will not be back.

So I went to go pick up a DoorDash order and bought 2 strawberrie Sundays and the cashier was getting an attitude because I asked that they put strawberries on it because I always get just one maybe none sometimes. Then I’m stranding there waiting and he looks at me and tells me my Sundays are out sitting on the counter. So I told him I know and that I’m waiting on a DoorDash order. So he starts a whole commotion about they have a policy of not letting us order nothing if we are picking up a DoorDash order, because we would make that order late. But my Sundays were out and the DD order wasn’t so I don’t know what was his problem. Called the manager on me and everything! Many restaurants we pick up from offer us drinks, but DairyQueen employee was mad I bought Sundays smh!
