At the recommendation of an employee, I ordered some extra crispy fries to go the other day and WOW. Thank you Sunday afternoon frycook, you are a god amongst men. These were quite possibly some of the best fries I’ve had, and this is across a lifetime of being a potato loving fiend! Salted just right, crispy on the outside, moist and fluffy on the inside, perfection. Parked and waiting for the ferry? Order some fries to go! You’ll be glad you did, especially with the galley being shut down on the ferry for snacks.

Food was yummy, I had a salad and my boyfriend had a burger. I really need to get in the habit of taking pictures of the food before I devour it. We managed to get in there during a slow time so service was great even though there was only 1 person there. The atmosphere is great, very casual and low key. Looked like a they had regular crowd of locals that came and went. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area again.

First timer, tried the fish tacos, and they were really good. Great service and friendly waiter. We sat outside which was okay, because the dark dingy inside was just not an option. The outside in front doesn’t have good curb appeal either. So just don’t go on first impressions, give them a try and sit outside on the upper deck!

For a Saturday early evening dinner this place looked like it would be perfect, but the wait was so long we saw people leaving. There were 3-4 people behind the bar and 2 in the kitchen, but no one greeted us on entry, and we had to go up to the bar to get menus and place our order. If there had been signs saying you had to walk up to order that would have been fine, but this was half bar and half grill. It took over an hour for food to be made and i had to go up to the bar only to find they didn’t even know who my order was supposed to go to. Food wasn’t bad but the fries were cold and I had a stray fry in my salad.

We came for lunch and the food was to die for. Lunch crowd was slow and there was plenty of room and tables for everyone. I had soup and salad and it was delicious. I had leftovers and brought them home. Great location next to the Cakery, The Ale House, and the ferry.

We were the first ones in the building on a Saturday it was strange… The food was decent but the prices are a little steep. The club sandwich was huge however, I don’t think it was worth $16. For the wings I opted for the honey Garlic.. they were sticky as hell and they don’t offer wetnaps, mostly honey and I personally didn’t like the size of the wings……….. I didn’t get a picture of the bloody Mary I ordered but it was delicious. Also the “Ivar’s clam chowder was delicious”
