Excellent food, friendly atmosphere and service! Don’t miss the cevapi (with house-made sausage) and the baklava (also house-made)! The black bean soup was also excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable. We will be back!

This was my first and last time going here. We went in and ordered Angry Balls. We had to get our own silverware. We bit into them and they were cold in the middle. We told the waiter to please take them back and remove them from the bill. He replied with “I’ll have to ask” they did take it off the bill. We were served chicken noodle soup. It was warm. It wasn’t anything special. It was from a can. And that’s fine. The gyro was good. It was hot and tasted great. The fries were frozen fries. Nothing special. The BLT was as generic as they come. Thin white toast with a couple slices of cold bacon. Very thin tomato and a large leaf of lettuce. The tots are frozen as well. Nothing special. Overall the food wasn’t special. Nothing stood out. It wasn’t the worst or the best. I’m glad I tried it. I hope you have a better experience.

What a delightful spot in Terre Haute! Had fantastic chicken and waffles! My son loved his chorizo burger! Breakfast all day, fab burgers, and some great Balkan dishes such as cabbage soup and cevappi! Also, wonderful gyros! Wait staff so friendly and efficient! Terrific lunch spot! Perfect for big groups!

Was looking for a quick bite having never been to Terre Haute before and found this place that had really good reviews. Waited for a while to be seated and tended to, but felt more lenient after seeing there was only one server. Everything I ordered blew me away: sweet tea is so deliciously sweet, chicken noodle soup was tasty, gyro was one of the best is ever had, tots were perfect. Just wow! Highly, highly recommend supporting this local family-run cafe!

Babo’s was fantastic!! Myself and my husband had the Philly cheese steak and the BLT Club with complimentary Bell Peper Soup. I ended up ordering a second bowl it was so good. When you go in ask for Crisda. She was very attentive, got everything to us quickly, and overall had great conversation. The wieners and the staff are very welcoming. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!!

Went to Babo’s for the first time and it was amazing! We had a great server named Taylor! She gave us speedy service and got all of our order correct. Now let me talk about the food; the fried mushrooms were massive and delicious, the loaded fries were superb coated in toppings, and the burgers were seasoned to perfection! We were too full to eat our dessert there so we took it home and it was amazing too! I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying all they have to offer!
