Hello. Me and my friend Elyse placed an order for some Jamaican food today. This place is good. All I will say is don’t order the beef patties unless you have 45-60 minutes to wait (they will tell you 20 minutes for a wait. I’ve ordered the patties twice- and both times it took a total of 45-55 minutes for them to be cooked). Also the second time I ordered the patties- they were burnt. Very burnt. The man who made them and gave them to me also said they were burnt but they were still good.

True Jamaican food that reminds me of my childhood! I come to this truck regularly and I have even catered for a small group and it was great! The food I got was all in top shape. Meat melted right off the bone. The food wasn’t too spicy for my guests and everyone enjoyed all of the main meat choices. My favorite reason to support this truck is their consideration for vegan and vegetarian options. There are so many. The vegan chickpeas is amazing. The vegan reggae wrap is great and so are the rest of their rotating vegan options, like the vegan meatballs. The sorrel is great because it’s not the artificial stuff and tastes like Christmas. I appreciate the authenticity of the food here because it’s not greasy, it doesn’t weigh me down after stuffing my face and I never feel bad after eating here. On top of all of that, the service is great and the truck staff are super friendly and amicable. I enjoy my experience coming here.

I had the jerk chicken plate. It comes with rice and peas, plantains and veggies. They are all cooked to perfection and very delicious. The chicken is so tender and flavorful. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get.

Fran came through with the menu. Kim came through with the customer service and history. Warren came through with the beef patties and the story of how it all came together. Delicious, delightful, decadent, and divine. The experience was worth it and the sleepy drive back to DFW was I’LL DO IT AGAIN. The food is the most authentic I’ve gotten in my great state of Texas. Portions were nothing short of perfection. This is where it’s at!!!! I can’t wait to go back and double my order!!!!!

Since moving to Austin I’ve been sad about my Jamaican food experience. I saw them at the Black Makers Market and decided to give them a try. This hit the spot, and is the only place to be in town for Jamaican food. Everything was very flavorful.

This was my first meal with Kings n Queens Jamaican Cuisine, and I was blown away! I had the curried chicken and it was fall-off-the bone, juicy decadence! The spices were perfectly balanced and it paired perfectly with the red beans and rice and cabbage it was served with. I highly recommend this to anyone craving a healthful, delicious, home-cooked meal!

Came here last Sunday to get a plate as I was craving Caribbean food. Even though their hours says open at 12pm, they weren’t even ready to serve customers so we had to wait for over 45 min. For that I took a star away. I think if you advertise you open at a certain time you should be ready for business at said time.

I’m a native here in Pflugerville, stop by for the first time to get some jerk chicken and it was pretty good. The beans and rice is perfectly cooked and had a nice flavor. The jerk chicken was tinder, had amazing seasoning, and to finished it off the plantains brought a sweet flavor finished. Definitely recommend to go stop by!
