Pros: Food here was excellent. My parent’s shared a massive tray of meat and sides. The chili was made with burnt ends. The bark on the brisket had that smoke taste. I had a chicken wrap that was amazing. The chicken had a hint of lime, and the Mac n cheese was delicious. There was a line out the door, but staff on hand moved the line through quickly. There wasn’t much wait for the food either for how busy it was. Decent variety of alcoholic drinks, but did not partake this time.

It’s odd to have a hostess stand for a counter-order style restaurant but it works. Servers deliver your food based on your pager and you can order more from them if you want.

I’m usually not the biggest fan of barbecue but the polite pig was an exception to that. I ordered the whole roasted chicken combo with a side of Mac and it also came with coleslaw and a piece of cornbread. The combo meal is definitely worth the price, as it comes with a lot of food. The roasted chicken was so juicy and flavorful and the sides were pretty good as well. The star of the show for me was the Mac and cheese. Seriously, it was so amazing. I even had to get another order of it! My friends got the brisket combo meal and she liked it but said the brisket was a bit drier than what she would have liked. She enjoyed the corn too but said she wished it came off the cob as it was kind of messy to eat. The service at this location was great. Despite the busy line, it moved pretty quickly and our food came out quickly as well. Our waiter brought us a sampler of all the different sauces they have and it was great! I highly recommend sitting outside since inside it can be loud and busy and the ambiance is better. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!

This was our first time at the Polite Pig. We opted for the full service (basically seating there to eat). The service was really outstanding. Our server took the time to recommend sauces for our meals and their components and how to pair them. Portions are big. We had the brisket and the pork shoulder. All sides were great, but we particularly loved the Mac and cheese and the southern potato salad. I would definitely return.

This was my first time here, and let me tell you, it was amazing. The service was wonderful. And the food was excellent. This is a must go place. The meat was delicious and moist. We will be coming back every year we come back to Florida. Tell the chefs we said excellent job.

Love the vibe at this restaurant! The servers are really friendly, full bourbon bar, but the food wasn’t so great. I ordered their pork sandwich. Sides are extra, so it was recommended I try the Brussels Sprouts. The pork sandwich had little to no pork in it. Very disappointing. Other than that, the place was really nice. I would come back to try other options!

Very nice experience when we visited this past February. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink while waiting for the food (though it arrived super fast!). Brussel sprouts were delicious, as was the fried chicken sandwich. Hubby enjoyed the brisket more than me, but all in all a really good meal in a great environment.

If you like Barbecue, then you’ll love the food at this location. i had the Low and Slow Brisket and it tasted amazing, with a kick from the sauce and jalepeños. And their bourbon themed “Cheesecake Old Fashioned” tastes almost like it had bourbon in it for real (but didn’t), complete with orange zest garnish!

My first time here, and we sat outside, which was nice. We ordered inside, and they brought the food to us once it was ready. The food was good. The chicken sandwich was a little sauce to for me, but the chicken was cooked perfect. The pork was delicious. We also had cornbread and waffle fries which were perfect.
