One might call me a regular. Their food is consistently delicious. I order weekly, in advance, from their “family style” menu. They keep me fed with healthy, varied, well-labeled dishes that accommodate many dietary styles. I am always met with smiles and warm conversation. This is a very special place with fresh and tasty takeaway (or eat in!). The atmosphere is open, well lit and welcoming. Don’t forget to pick up some flowers and curated groceries and snacks!

More deli style prepared food than site down restaurant. But don’t let that dissuade you. You’ll be stunned by the varied array of options. I had a sandwich, roasted brussel sprouts, a cod cake, skewers, and a hand pie and it was all so delicious. 10/10, prices are reasonable as long as you have self control.

I was driving home after a long day and happened to see a sign serving burrata with pesto ( my absolute fav). I was welcomed immediately upon walking in and given a menu. Everything was beyond my expectations. The burrata melted instantly in my mouth with the perfect amount of seasoning. I also ordered the cod cakes and have never tasted anything like it. They had the perfect balance of spicy and lemon flavors. I finally found my go to spot for the area.

Everything at Black-Eyed Suzie’s is absolutely delicious. From their (vegan!) banana pudding to their hand pies to their chicken banh mi to their chicken soup to their roasted veggies… I could go on! staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. There are places to sit down inside, but I usually take to-go. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, it’s all wonderful. So happy Black-Eyes Suzies is in Kingston!

First time here. Was a warm spot to eat when walking to town on a cold day. GREAT FOOD with veggie options. Loved the grilled tofu. Put it in the butternut squash soup. Don’t start me on the cookies. A couple doesn’t last long; they are so delicious.

Lovely little cafe. Hot soup and brewed coffee (hot and iced) were available, along with a variety of freshly made sandwiches, sides, and other grab & go options. There is also a place to sit and a good selection of upscale snacks. We hung out and had sandwiches, egg salad, and delicious cookies! The prices definitely aren’t low, but I felt like I got the high quality I paid for. The folks who work there were helpful and patient, much appreciated!

this place is a gem. Every single thing they prepare or sell is perfectly done. it’s inconceivable to me how the same place could have the best Thai salad and also the best fried chicken and also the best cookies. But this place pulled it off.
