Staff was incredibly friendly and the restaurant is also very clean! Nice atmosphere for a quick, quiet lunch! The food was great for a home style type meal! Parking is on the street, no designated parking area, but easily accessible! Definitely recommend trying if you’re in the area and want something nice but laid back! Posting an updated menu because the ones I found online were a little outdated!

Very nice atmosphere and wonderful service from staff. First time guest. I had the Eggs Benedict. They were very good. The hash brown bale I found tough taking a knife and fork with some difficulty to cut them and then the taste was starchy and perhaps a little uncooked in the middle. Wife had chicken and waffles. The chicken nuggets appeared to be from a frozen batch. Our drinks were regular black coffee and an unsweetened tea. Just under $32 before tip.

Went here this morning excited based off the menu I saw online. They had a very nice selection. Got to the restaurant and was impressed on how it looked inside, everything was well presented and a nice atmosphere! Not too loud even with a full house. Took a while to get a waitresses to ask for our drinks. We placed our order with our drinks and asked for their coffee as well. It took a very long time to get our drinks and water to the point where I was about to go get my own. Then they didn’t give our coffee to us before our meal so I sent mine back because who wants to drink coffee with their meal, I always enjoy it before I eat. We get the food. It looks amazing, then after we started eating, it was cold, and the flavor was not as good as how it looked. The house hashbrown ball was cold and very very mushy.

This is the only place I’ve ever been satisfied completely from in the door to paying the bill. Server KB was fabulous. She anticipated what we may ask for before we could even open our mouths. Food was excellent, and piping hot when served which was perfect for us. Relaxing atmosphere on a Wednesday evening which is what we were looking for. Haystacks met every expectation for me and my book for what I want my experience to be when I get to get out and have a meal away from the kiddos.Price wasn’t a downer either! When I go out to eat, it’s not only about the food quality for me. It’s the experience all around and Haystacks you’ve got a %100 score for my checklist. Thank for an amazing meal and service!!! (KB)

Being new to the Sulphur Springs area, got into a conversation with our very nice waitress about other stuff in the area to eat and do. This young lady did not have another table in the bar area, she got in trouble with her manager and assuming the older owner lady. She did not come back after being spoke to. Sorry but that is not how you conduct business.
